I'm also dislike ESP letter on 12th fret especially on E2. Moreover in every NAMM shows, ESP representative keeps repeating the same line "E2 used to be called ESP standards". E2 has been around for 10 years. No need ESP letter on 12th fret. People should know by know it is an ESP product. If they want ESP logo on headstock go buy more expensive guitar or used one. Back to your new guitar. That quilted maple top is amazing. Do you think 59/custom hybird on bridge is too bright ?
Dude that quilt really is killer. I actually really like the 59/custom. This guitar seems just a tad dark, so it compliments it well. I just put in a pair of BK polymaths, and they sound sweet too BUT...I'm thinking of swapping an Unoriented A5 magnet in the 59/custom hybrid then reinstalling just to see what it would sound like.
Great now I'm gassing for an ESP. Neck thru, string thru, awesome fretwork and a KILLER top. That's how I would order it. Congrats!!
