This is a real vocal showcase for Dan! What a fabulous performance! Thanks so much for playing this. Dan also does other Evanescence covers, especially My Immortal, which is less spectacular but deeply and fiercely emotional. Great comments! I agree, although I love the original, Dan’s male voice and energy bring something extra. You should check out My Heart Will Go On - you’ll be astounded by what he does with it. And Burn Butcher Burn is incomparable.

Dan did not use vocal backing tracks from Evanescence. All vocals are Dan's! He uses layers of recordings and videos to produce his music. All the music is arranged and produced by Dan, also, unless stated otherwise in the video discription. In some Dan's earliest videos, he used karaoke backing tracks, but, starting hiring other youtube muscians to create instrumentals. He always did the arrangements and production himself. Nowadays Dan has started farming more of the production work to give himself more time for other projects.

Btw. here's a Raye video for your private pleasure. This is an acoustic recording (just her and a guitar player) of a song from her EP. One of the emotionally most intense Raye performances I've found so far, incredible vocals. But I think for reaction purposes her "bigger" productions like "Oscar Winning Tears" at Royal Albert Hall are more suited... So this is just a reminder for you on how good she is... And I need to find Coby to share this with her, maybe she has not found it yet and I'm 100% sure she will love it and put it on repeat, so I need to share it with her...
