@@TheLightnoise It's not too CPU-intensive. If you pile on lots of layers and effects it can be, but it's fairly light. Also, there's a free demo that lets you use 2 layers.
@@akiramenai4973 it's no worries now mate i just upgraded my pc & daw to 64 bit - did a test the other day - was running 6 instances of Union & the cpu metre was only hitting 60% ... :) happy days
I just bought it. Prior to version 1.7, there was a voicing panel where you could adjust the glide time. Has anyone found out how to do it in 1.7? Thank you very much
So basically you can build a single track in one synth. Does is take a bunch of CPU power to run? I think there is way too much to wrap my head around. I'm sure sound designer's would go nuts over this. I'm just a simple person but I'm sure you can make wicked atmosphere pad sounds. Very good look into this Demis, hope you come out with some more interesting sounds from it.
It does not take much cpu at all I was demonstrating a full track in the video while screen capturing and it was hardly pulling CPU. It is design to use the gpu more should you choose it to. Plenty of settings options. The XT packs sound really nice too.
I have quite a few complex VSTs. This is one of the few that I really understood 90% of just by playing on it and watching a couple of videos like this. It's pretty straightforward. I termed it "Falcon for non-engineers." You can try a free demo with 2 layers!
@@thatchinaboi I agree. Though if I bought a synth ONLY for the presets, I'd have to vote for Spire. It comes with nearly a thousand, and many of them are incredible. With all those options, you can find something to dial in pretty easily.
These types of things are really cool but I feel like they tend to be a little over complicated. Neat though but ill stick to my usual Serum, Sylenth, massive.
You are a moron if you think it's over complicated. Not to mention you can't get the same sounds from those other synths that you can with Rapid. Rapid sounds much better than any of those options you are currently using. But if you can't tell the difference then stick to what you have. LOL
@@Alkatraz581 compare rapid and serum is like fiat and bmw ;) Rapid has way more options also the Reverb is incredible and can be used as FX only. The FX of serum sounds crap. The Cpu usage of serum is also crap. Rapid can play 24 OSC at the same time while serum bring my i9 to cry with only 2 osc. :D
It's also my favorite synth at the moment. :)
It does have a great work flow which makes it one of my favourites. 🙌
SOoooooooooo Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiice !
I know right, been like a child at Christmas recording this video. 😂 😎
@@demishellen Haha i bet .. i'd love it, but i don't think my poor old pc could handle it,

I'm sure you found it, but for other readers: It's the little "V" button at the far right of all the envelope and LFO buttons.
@@akiramenai4973 Yes, indeed, but thanks for the others
Is there a difference between 1.7.0.2 and 1.7.0.6?
I have the older version and just found that you have a newer version.
Let me guess. You are using Windows? So that's the difference between 1.7.0.2 (latest Windows version) and 1.7.0.6 (latest Apple version)
Without Master?

@@akiramenai4973 I bought both of them. I am disappointed in the uninspiring presets in Falcon. I much prefer the sound and layout of Rapid.

It’s not as difficult as you think, it was daunting but after using it for minutes it was all very intuitive.
It kind of looks like serum
