Almost 455hp but with excessive weight. It handles pretty bad and braking distance is big... brakes overheat easily. Acceleration is also subpar for cars in this class because of the weight. Not even comparable with Audi RS4 for example. Yeah, I know that RS4 is completely different, but still.
@@kordaxmint533 Well if you’re in the market for plug in hybrids the Volvo’s are great value for money. This version producing 455HP while the competitors have around 300-350HP. Also the electric range of 90km with this new model is quite difficult for the competition to beat.
@@kordaxmint533 Check out Out of Spec motoring review on V60 Polestar. I think he did not conclude it handles bad. Also comparing to RS4 ... I guess S4 would be better comparison. But yes as a hybrid it is very heavy.
@@mho0 S4 is still much faster (TFSI), has better handling, and much better suspension... RS4 is in a different league, Volvo has nothing to compete with RS.
@@kordaxmint533 S4 is not much faster. Is it actually faster at all? Or probably depends ... Audi probably faster from standstill and slower after like 80kmh but of course Audi limited to 250 instead of 180. But RS4 is of course totally different car. Related to suspension. S4 might have better suspension than normal T8, but Polestar version with Öhlins is way better than S4.

Aside that 0-180 in 12 sec is really crazy. You should try out powermode instead of hybrid.
Really great to have almost 500hp to get to 180. If I would get it I would pay the 2000 euros for the vmax unlock by HEICO.

Its easy to remove the top speed lock, just go to a mechanic who can do it.
Is it? 👀
Easy..., no, not really.. As far as I know it is only HEICO who provide a proper vmax unlock at this point
No it isn't as Volvo have been encrypting their ECUs for a while, which is why pretty much noone offers a tune.
PUT IT IN SPORT MODE!!!
This must be downhill, this is insanely fast
I have the same car and it is really that fast
top speed only 180?
volvo is all about safety, not safe to drive faster
Snälla kan du göra en pov när du kör den ingen annan gör sånt
180 km/h and its the end of your journey... fck that BS
Bad gps map has
It really isn't.
