SMA and ScannerDanner are the two best professional mechanics on RUclips in my opinion. Thank you Eric for all the hard work you do to bring us videos. Jim

That works great for testing! Years ago, GM had the tap test on the Mass Airflow Sensor. IT WORKED! GREAT VIDEO, quick test! Love It!

Being a retired teacher I can tell you the teaching with this video was spot on. Good job- I like how you showed the DIY people like me that don't have a bi-directional scan tool how to test it.

Thank you for the disassembly. At least we got to see the inside of this piece of kit and understand how it operates.

Here in December 2023, The Innova 5610 is really good with lifetime updates, and Harbor Freight's 15s is exactly the same scanner and is on Inside Track Club sale for $260. Can't beat it. I just got one and plugged it into a 2021 Camry Hybrid and it supports tons of tests and bidirectional controls.

Don't make me break out the BFH little guy!! And there it is, lol. Oh, I broke it, more lol. At least you keep your dissection area clear of past carcass, but somehow I knew it would be centered by a heavy vise with a BFH handy. Carbon traces of the pot could still have been worn in the most used areas, a sweep test with a scope might have found that worn spot but only a maybe as taking it apart might have made it run in a new track. We already know that vibration is affecting it. But that was before the BFH treatment. Thanks so much for not doing it Scanner style with just a call out for the new part - we come here for the fix put in and absolutely LOVE a BFH dissection. You are slipping Eric, not even a cameo of a God like can of brake cleaner overseeing the destruction? There is always next time, top drawer SMA as per usual.

Your pretty tricky posting this from an RV. I don't know how you feel about hugs from an old fat guy but in about 4 hours your getting one! Your right about buying scanners on Craig's list. In my case I just got a used Vantage on eBay for $249. I haven't even had a chance to look at it because it came the day before I left for work, but you can believe I'll be on Paul's channel to learn how to use it. As to the video, I didn't hear anything past wyattoneable. lol You very kind. I have a 1000 questions for all that will be present today, but that's not why were here. The answers will come in time from great channels such as yours, thank you for the shout out.

I'm just amazed at your level of expertize , we all thank you for your video's. oh and I dig Ivan's vids as well
