theres different between load and deload weight :/. Dom when he loaded he squatted more than 396lb. in deload he lowered it cuz to reduce chance of injury
Hahaha whenever I dunk on a Wednesday I think of Steven saying "It's translation day!" I went from barely dunking on 9' 2" to barely dunking on 9' 10" in less than 2 years on THP and as someone who isn't genetically gifted, I am surprised at how weak I am. It really is more about how you move the weight than moving the most weight.
How you don’t average more likes and subscribers with the breakdowns you do is beyond me. People like you and Cal Dietz just seem to fall between the cracks even though your channels are a treasure trove of sports science and performance gems
hi John, it would be interesting to see your approach on the development of athleticism and conditioning of a tennis player (in relation to agility, change of directions...) rather than a jumper. I know that right now your niche it's rather different, but online I can only find so much and I feel it's not up to date with recent understanding of training adaptations, so if there's one that can do something about it it's you. Still great videos, keep up the good work
My fav. 1. Dragon Ball Z (Bruce Falconer) (Dubbed) 2. Dragon Ball Super (Dubbed) 3. Demon Slayer (Subbed) 4. Cyberpunk (Dubbed) 5. My Hero, One Punch, DB GT Now I actually have a lot to say about this, but in regards to my development as a human DBZ taught me if you try really freaking hard you can be good at something. This is right in line with intent as it applies to the weight room, plyos, etc... Demon Slayer is all about being a solid person despite the wrong doing that has happened to you and standing up for what's right. Cyberpunk is intriguing because it's more about mental health and the impact that that can have on your long term well being. It's about loss, overcoming adversity, and ultimately death and the inevitable happening despite your best efforts. My hero to me embodies long term progress, similar to DBZ. GT is just a continuation of this and SSJ4 was pretty cool but kind of misses out on the key elements I liked in the other DB series. One punch man is just amazing fight sequences which is captivating.
Isaiah: you gotta squat heavy to jump high
Dom with a 43 inch vert: pr of 45 lb squat

Goated answer @@JohnEvans
How did he not get injured when he never did weights until 40 inches? Isn't doing only plyos basically asking for tendon overload injuries?
I now know what the acronym “THP” represents 😭😭😭
