Hey everyone!! Just wanted to point out that this was filmed in February which is why we were allowed to have visitors at the hospital etc. Unfortunately at the end of our stay Eric and I were the only ones allowed there and things were very different. I'll talk more about it in videos coming soon! :)
Bless your heart we had the same exact thing with our twins. I was 29 weeks I made it 3 more weeks. They were born 2.8 pounds 2.11 pounds and are now 17 and graduating high school. Enjoy the journey to goes so fast.
Wow, that is crazy! So glad everything was OK with them! As much as I wish none of this would have to happen to anyone, it is definitely encouraging to hear other people stories!
I had my son at 34 weeks!!! Same thing, went for a doctors appointment and my blood pressure was insane! No other symptoms though, 3 days of failed induction ended in a c section. He was only in the NICU for 10 days!🙌🏻
I can relate to this on such a real level. My son was born 8 weeks early. He was 2lbs 12 inches and he spent 6 weeks in the NICU. Hes almost 4 now. Things do get better ill pray for you babe. 💚
I'm crying right now 😭 I was induced as soon as I hit 38 weeks with my 1st due to hypertension that was heading towards preeclampsia. Thankful I happened to have an appt to check for something else and my BP was 165/105 and after an hour of laying down it increased to 165/107 so they sent me to L&D. After 4 days of monitoring me they sent me home with instructions to return in 2 days to begin induction. I'm now pregnant with our 2nd and I'm worried it will be worse this time. I'm so glad to see you and your baby girl are both healthy and happy!!
I’m glad you & baby are safe & healthy! 💕 My sister had preeclampsia & almost died. She’s also really small, no health issues, an athlete, etc. it’s nothing that can be predicted & your nurse/doctor is awesome for sending you over so fast.
My baby girl was born 12/30/17 she wasn't due till 2/12/18. She came early due to me having preeclampsia. I'm here if you need to talk, it all can be a little traumatic and I got PTSD from mine. Our little one luckily was only in the NICU for 3 weeks thank God. Praying for you all.
@@CaraJane it all just depends on them and how things go. My little one didn't need oxygen but we had only got 1 round of steroid shots for her lungs before she was born. It's all a long story. Tonya S I also believe I got PTSD. My son was born at 28 weeks 4 days due to me having preeclampsia. He spent 60 days in the NICU. He is now almost 2 and I always get so emotional around his birthday because I’m still very traumatized.

littlemiss bekah so true!! I am 35weeks and 2 days, I got my 15 days appointment canceled last week for another 2 weeks due to the Virus 🦠 and agh is so annoying and frustrating, I just want to know how me and my baby are doing
Helen Hines Agreed. 25 weeks FTM. I asked these same questions to my OB when they cancelled my appointment. They told me to call if I had any questions or if I started feeling bad 😑 So I’m supposed to diagnose myself? I’m a FTM! I’m not sure what is “normal” for me yet when it comes to pregnancy. So I bought a blood pressure cuff and urinalysis test strips so I can test myself. The second I hit deep into my 3rd trimester I’m demanding at least every other week visits. I’ll find a testing site in my city and get tested for COVID-19 and will show them that I don’t have it and I need to be seen. Telemedicine is ok if I just have the sniffles. I have a human inside me. I need someone to test to make sure my baby is ok and that I’m ok. I can feel my mom “instinct” coming out the farther along I am lol 😂
Exactly I’m high risk with history of preeclampsia and my baby girl has a single cord and my doctor kept canceling and changing my appointment I’m 31 weeks 4 days
Ugh, absolutely. I’m 31 weeks now. I have not had an ultrasound since February. Last week I just barely started seeing my doctor in person again, before that I had only seen him 2-3 times in person. My whole pregnancy is just being at home, googling, talking to my doctor on the phone every 3 weeks, and having to do go to random places for testing. This is my first pregnancy and my boyfriend’s 3rd baby, needless to say he hasn’t been happy with our experience and doesn’t like that I’ve been kept in the dark. Not the doctor’s fault of course but this sure does suuuuuuuuuck.
I also had severe pre-eclampsia. My baby was born at 31 weeks. She was in hospital for 2 months and came home in April. So blessed that everything went well with my emergency C-section and that my baby is healthy and growing beautifully :)
I had severe preeclampsia and delivered my daughter at 29 weeks. She was 2 lbs even! 76 days in the nicu then another month stay three weeks after going home. She turned 4 on 4/6! Congratulations momma ♥️
Aww my second was born at 33 weeks, she just wanted to come into the world on her own time. She was only in the NICU about two and a half weeks, she was 4 pounds. (She was a "big" preemie) she's 9 now and you'd never know she was premature. Good luck to you and blessings to your family!
Hi doll! As a momma that had three babies at 33 weeks, I’m glad that it’s all behind you and your baby is home safe with you! It’s definitely a trying time for any parents. ❤
Thank you so much for sharing your story. I’m 31 weeks today and this helped me not be scared for any type of emergency that I may need! I’m so happy you and your baby were safe and healthy!
Glad to see your story! As a L&D nurse, I was anxious to know what happened, but was trying to be patient knowing you were adjusting to being a momma & were likely super busy & exhausted 😊 God Bless! Serena (Louisiana)
Wow, I love that you shared this. This was a big example for us to pack and have all of our stuff early than 35wk, heck at least 30wks. Im glad everything went okay 🙌🏽
Oh my goodness...the dinging when you're talking to Eric just gave me such intense anxiety. I had preeclampsia with both of my pregnancies. Both babies were born between 31-32 weeks. I spent a few days in the hospital prior to having my first and then was hospitalized a couple times for several days at a time before my second was born. The magnesium sucks. My first baby spent about 6 weeks in the NICU and my second spent about 8 weeks! The Lord is good and we're all healthy! Praying all is well with you!
Congratulations on your sweet baby girl! Proud of you all, what a crazy journey... but she’s here safe, and that’s the most rewarding part! Can’t wait to hear more on your story! Thinking of you all & sending the most healing thoughts your way! 💕
This is so frustrating because I’m 33 weeks and 3 days and have not had an appointment in 4 weeks. I don’t have an appointment for another week. I have so many questions to ask and can’t even do so because I’m not getting seen regularly 🤷🏻♀️ I’m glad you were able to have visitors and were able to have a somewhat normal experience before this pandemic changed everything
Oh wow!! That’s not good!! I hope you’re able to have an appt soon and that everything is fine!! They really should be keeping the appointments because of situations like this!
You can also call your OB if you don’t feel right or have any questionable symptoms. They’ll probably get right on a video chat with a doctor or nurse that is working from home.
I’m 31 weeks and have to go back in for a CGT scan today. They also found protein in my urine and I’ve been feeling increased movements and feeling weak in my feet and body like you. What I love the most about this video is just how calm you are, it’s really refreshing, thank you x
I 1980 I had same pregnancy had daughter c-section. 3 years later I had regular birth to a boy. and 18 months later another boy born natural. I was so worried about you guys. I prayed 3 times a day. I thought maybe you had corona virus or something went wrong. When I saw your vlog I jumped on it!!!!! Still Praying be careful
My wife was at work when her water broke. She was 2.5 months early. My oldest boy was born with a low apgar. 13 years later and he is a big healthy and is about to have his 14th birthday on April 13.
I'm so glad to hear the doctor caught it early. When I had my first baby, I was in labour and started having seizures and ended with an emergency c-section and I ended up in ICU. Diagnosis was Eclampsia. No one got it before I went into labour and it was very scary for my family....I had a total of 7 seizures and I don't recall the week my son was born, very sad for me. Congratulations, she's beautiful.
Oh wow... that's so scary!! Glad you're okay now!! We're very blessed that it didn't come to that....definitely wish I had a memory of the birth though too!
Thank God that your preeclampsia was caught in time! I suspected I had preeclampsia with my 1st, but my nurse midwife kept telling me the swelling (severe) and headaches (constant) were normal. My BP was higher than my norm, but “not quite high enough”. It was also taken with an electronic BP machine at every appointment!! (Very unreliable). It happened to fall down the stairs at work and had to go in to the hospital to make sure baby was ok, and they diagnosed me with severe preeclampsia and induced me that day! I encourage anyone who is questioning their midwife or doctors diagnoses or opinions to get a 2nd opinion! And at this time (prego with my 3rd now) I call my OB anytime I question any symptoms I have, since they aren’t seeing anyone as often anymore.
I went into spontaneous labour at 33+1. She was in NICU for 4 weeks and I was only 16. It’s a crazy amazing journey, she’s now 11 years old. Excited to have found your channel.
I had my little man at 34wks +2d via c-section because I was losing too much fluid too fast, and he was in the NICU for 2wks +3d. During that time, I was going to the hospital everyday and staying all night. I wasn't able to breastfeed him due to him having a bowel obstruction (poo stuck in his tummy). So now I bottle feed him formula. But he is a big and healthy 4 month old baby now. Him being in the NICU was one of the scariest things for me to go through, but I was just glad that he was healthy.
Congratulations! I was getting worried because we hadn't seen you for awhile. What a sweet baby, glad your ok and can't wait for your future vlogs I always look for you each day as you always brighten my day. God bless you and your new little family!
Girl I’m so glad you’re okay, the process seemed soooo exhausting and frustrating because of the uncertainty!!! So so crazy, can’t wait to hear the birth story💝💝. Congratulations again!!❤️❤️ Hope you’re feeling stronger!!
I'm so glad you and Quinn are ok! You were so brave and positive when facing a scary situation. That's a good example for everyone right now, so thank you! God bless you and your sweet family!
Thank you so much for your vlog! I’m currently in the hospital at 31 wk 2 days and have to stay till week 34 for the exact same reason! You give me so much hope that my baby will be okay ❤️
Oh wow! I hope everything goes well for you! It's definitely a scary situation but you're not alone and I'm sure in no time you'll be holding your perfect baby. My baby is 2 now and doing amazing. You'll be there soon :)
Cara, you went through alot! So relieved everything is ok with you and baby girl. Its funny how mama mode is when the babies room is not ready. We of course as moms want to have things prepared. What an array of things that transpired. After baby came you look back to your normal gorgeous self, and beforehand I could see you concerned of course. You are really developing into a very good vlogger! Hugs to Ace !
Thank you for the update. So happy you are ok. She's so tiny & precious. Sending lots of love & prayers that she comes home soon. Congratulations, enjoy your daughter.
My boy was born 6 weeks early last year his birthday is 19.02.2019 💕 NICU mummas are strong mummas, there hard times with a baby in the NICU. But we as women are built for these type of obstacles.
My brother was born 9 weeks premature, he was born by c- section so when he was out of my mum he was taken straight to the nicu ward. The reason they took him straight away is because he was blue, my mum only got to see him for a few seconds because she begged them. It was crazy, he's now a strong little 9 year old
Your face was so red during the filming you were at the dr's office, you must have had really high blood pressure. Glad to see in newer vlogs that your baby and you are doing well. I hope you get to go home from the hospital soon
Hi Cara! My name is Tarnie and I live in Australia! I found your vlogs and have been feeling so much comfort knowing that someone else has gone through this preemie journey! Our stories are scarily similar, I had our little boy Corbin at 33 weeks and two days and he was due in April but we had him on Valentine’s Day this year! I also had a doctors visit the day that I went into hospital and just kept thinking we don’t have anything ready yet! It’s been so lovely reliving this all through your eyes I can’t wait to continue the journey with you all 😭♥️ because Corbin is 6 months old I watched a lot of these videos of Quinn at the same age which is so lovely! I am now going back to the start of her journey earthside! Absolutely love your content and feel so excited to have so much to watch! Sending love and warm wishes from the other side of the world!
So happy for yall that she's here and healthy!! You handled such a crazy experience so wonderfully!! I hope you're making a great recovery, I cant wait to hear the full story!!
Congrats! I had my daughter at 33 weeks 3 days. I went into pre term labor she was 4lbs 11.5 oz! 💚 💜 my daughter has cerebral palsy and epilepsy do to being early , but nothing stops her she’s a warrior! You daughter will be a warrior and grow so fast!
I’m glad you’re okay! I went in at 29 weeks with the same thing.. our goal was also 34 weeks but I just made it to 30 weeks and 1 day. It was very intense for me emotionally, and I found out later I actually had HELLP syndrome, which is severe form of Preeclampsia. I know what you went through, I feel you girl. 💛 Praying for you during this time... just take your time healing, physically and emotionally. Don’t put pressure on yourself to be “back to normal”...
A family member of mine had hellp syndrome and she actually passed away from it. This was 20 years ago, but that’s still very scary. Also, my youngest daughter was born at 29 weeks and 4 days. She is almost 6 now and came home perfectly healthy. I have no idea why she came early still don’t and chose not to have any more children after her because we have no explanation. It was a roller coaster, but she is amazing now. Love her so much.
My daughter was born on 27/3/2021...her due date was 18 May 2021...she stayed in NICU for 19 days...i’m enjoying your videos right now as an inspiration for my journey with my preemie. So thanks
My 4th baby was 10 weeks early and had a rough start he is 3 now and perfect. Baby 5 came at 33 week weighing 4lb 11oz and had no problems at she all needed a little bit of oxygen for 2 days she was born on 13th December and we took her home 11days later on the 24th December, the best Christmas present ever. All the best to you and your family and a speedy recovery for you both xxx
Thanks for sharing your story. This will help support other mothers going through the same. My son was born early at 30 weeks. I had no symptoms too but was diagnosed with preeclampsia/HELLP when one night my blood pressure went up to 200/120. Emergency c section was done the same day. Everything escalated so fast too. My son was in the Nicu for 6 weeks. It was a tough and challenging period but we are grateful to have him home now and he is doing well❤
I related to this video so much ! My baby boy was born October 28th , @4:35pm after being in labor for 52 hours . He was 7 weeks early aswell ! Because I also had preeclampsia and gestational diabetes , I’m glad she’s okay and I hope she continues have a healthy childhood !
So much love to you Cara. What a shock after such a previously uneventful pregnancy! I hope you and your baby girl are doing well and you are recovering from the c-section xxxxxx
I just came upon your video somehow and wow I was due April 11th. And ended up having my baby February 28 due to the exact same thing. I’m so glad I saw this video. Thank you for sharing ❤️
So glad you and baby girl are doing well. Enjoy every moment. Out of curiosity, did you have any cervical issues. This can cause premature labor. My cervix went from 3.7 to 1.1 at week 20. Thankfully my baby was born healthy at week 34, with the help of strict bed rest and progesterone. Lots of love from NY
Prayers for you! I’m 25 weeks and I got diagnosed with high blood pressure. I have test right now currently for preeclampsia. I’m so scared. I’m new mom as well.
Wow that's crazy! I'm due in 3 days (April 12 as well!) so I'm still waiting for baby to arrive! I can't imagine having a baby at 33 weeks, you are so strong! Wishing you all the best :)
I delivered April 21st at 33 weeks and 2 days gestation to my beautiful little boy via cesarean, due to Preeclampsia. I pretty much had the exact experience. It was horrible and scary. I hated all the needles, and the magnesium sulfate. Watching this was was like watching myself. Now I am learning how to be a NICU mom. Hugs from somebody who knows.🤗
Wow! I was watching YT last night and it dawned on me that I hadn’t seen anything from you in a while I even thought to myself that maybe the baby came already. Congratulations on your baby girl! So glad you both are doing well, must of been very scary. I had an emergency c section with my first born, something I was not mentally prepared for.
Gosh this brings back so many memories from when my little guy was born 8 weeks early 12/26/19. I had severe preeclampsia as well and I think the worst part was the way the magnesium made me feel. Did they put pads on your bed Incase of seizures? Hopefully your little one didn’t need too long of a NICU stay.
Yes, the magnesium was not fun! And yes that’s what the pads on the bed were for. Thank you so much! We are all doing well! Hope you and your son are, too!
I had my first baby girl at 32.5, they say my daughter broke my water at 12:30am, I had her normally just 12 hours later..we were in NICU for 16 days..but we didn’t have a crib, stroller, car seat either, I didn’t have a hospital bag ready..I was fixing it with contractions 2-3 minutes apart 😫 baby girl is healthy & super active
Congrats to you on the birth of your beautiful baby girl and hope everything went well for you during the birth and God bless you and your beautiful baby girl and she is so adorable and you are going to be a great mom and spoil her. Love you, Matthew Carrubba from Oklahoma
New to your Channel.... Absolutely AMAZING the Calmness & strength you both showed during this scary time for You & Your Family.... HAPPY EASTER DAY.... GBY ALL 🙏❤💙💖🧸🤗✝️
so thankful that your baby girl is doing well (I see little updates on Instagram). Crazy how life can change so quickly! You all continue to take care!
Justvfound this video in suggestions. Wow I'll be 33 weeks tomorrow and have already been dealing with high blood pressure. I'm sure mine is anxiety but definitely not ready to deliver yet. Congratulations, baby girl is adorable!!
just wanted to watch this again because quinn is 6 months old!! it's so crazy. she looks so tiny in this video, and now she's getting so big!! love you ❤️
Hypertension = high blood pressure. A lot of pregnant females will develop hypertension regardless of age or weight, its pretty common. Sometimes it is worse than other times. So glad they caught your condition before anything happened!
So crazy that I stumbled upon this video. I was pregnant and due April 10th but had my baby boy at 32 weeks and 5 days on Feb 18 due to severe preeclampsia. He was in the NICU for 22 days. He was born at 3 pounds 4 ounces. Our stories are so similar. Wow. Hope all is well for you and the little bean!
Yay! I’ve been looking forward to this video for so long! So happy for you guys & that everyone is healthy now. I follow you on Instagram and love seeing all your pics of sweet baby Quinn. She is so tiny & perfect! Can’t wait for the next video. Hope you are recovering well from your c section and resting when you can. I had one too when I had my preemie and it was a rough recovery because I didn’t rest enough, but that’s my own fault.😂 We are cheering for you guys from the sidelines and are proud of how strong you guys are through this whole crazy experience!❤️
You're so sweet!! Thank you soo much, Allison! I'm definitely trying to rest enough...definitely not easy though haha! Thanks for the encouragement! ;)
I had preeclampsia with all three of my boys. I'm praying that since you are about six weeks post partum, you are feeling great. Lots of love! Congratulations!
The medicine you got was magnesium sulfate and yes it makes you hot! I have a 6 year old daughter that was born at 27 weeks and 2 days...2 pounds 3 ounces 91 days in the NICU and a 4 year old son born at 27 weeks and 1 day ..2 pounds 8 ounces 76 days in NICU My goal was to make it to 34 weeks but it didn't happen but they are both completely healthy!
I am so glad everything went okay! Congratulations on your beautiful baby girl 💗 can’t wait to hear the full birth story! ✨God bless you and your family 🙏🏻
My middle daughter was born 7 weeks early as well due to ruptured membrane she is healthy and super full of energy. She is very petite for her age she is 10 and still can wear size 5/6 clothing congrats on your baby
My son was born on January 11 2020. he was 8 weeks early and weighed 4.1lbs. He is now a chubby little sausage and so worth all the worry. So happy that your daughter is doing well :)
I’m only halfway through this video and the similarities to my baby’s birth are so similar! No symptoms but I had severe preeclampsia and needed an emergency c section at 34 weeks. She’s almost 4 months now and it’s so nice to see you have videos of her monthly updates that I can compare! Do you still have high blood pressure? Mine has yet to settle down. My baby is actually IVF and she was transferred on the day your baby was born!
Oh wooow! Congrats and I hope you’re both well now! No, my blood pressure went down after a week or so. Hope you can get it figured out! And omg that’s so special!❤️
It have preeclampsia right now and was admitted for a few days with no visitors... I will probably have to go back as my blood pressure are getting high again. I'm so happy you are OK and you made it through. It can be very scary. I am only 27 weeks now Soni really hope I can stay pregnant for at least another few weeks. I hope you are enjoying your new addition!
I was wondering why I hadnt heard from you lately!! You being in labor crossed my mind...but I was like no way, too soon! I am so thankful to hear everythings okay now! CONGRATS on your new little bundle of joy! She is adorable...I am beyond excited for you and your little family 💜 I cant wait to for you to share this next chapter in your life, momma 🥰🥰
The minute you said your blood pressure was high I was like op preeclampsia. Mine was the exact same way!! I wasn’t in pain or swollen I just had high blood pressure protein in my urine and back aches that I though were ligament pains. I was 36 weeks but was able to hold out until 39 weeks exactly.
The fact that you went and they caught it in time is amazing! It’s scary now because I’m 35weeks and haven’t seen my Ob in three weeks just phone apt (due to Coronavirus) which is obviously not the same considering if ur apt was by phone they wouldn’t have noticed u had high blood pressure...ugh as if being pregnant with diabetes is not scary enough!

Cara Jane You’re such a strong mama!! Congrats on your baby girl! ❤️
So how old is the baby for real then
Watching this at 33 weeks pregnant today! That’s so crazy but I’m so happy everything turned out okay with you and your little blessing 💗
Aww congrats! Hope everything goes well for you! And thank you so much!❤️

its okay about the baby shower, you can always have a sip and see!

That is so scary!! So glad your sister is okay!! And yes...we're so thankful my doctor made that call! :)

What a blessing from God that you had the dr appt when you did. That’s all I could think about while watching this! God is good all the time!❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yes! It was so obvious that it all happened in His timing!! :)

Thank you sooo much, Serena! And I definitely have a huge appreciation for the labor and delivery nurses now! ❤️
I think it's so thoughtful that she goes through every single comment p.s. Your your gonna be the best mom!
Aww thanks, Jill!❤️
You're so sweet! Thank you sooo much, Cassidy! ;)
Me too I’ve been so worried
You can go to CVS and do your blood pressure. I know it’s not ideal but if your not allowed at dr then check at a pharmacy and call dr if it’s high.
@@moniquepb3651 pharmacies have taped off the public cuff but you can buy one there
You can also call your OB if you don’t feel right or have any questionable symptoms. They’ll probably get right on a video chat with a doctor or nurse that is working from home.
Omg you got the sweetest mommy/ grandma ever . She’s so thoughtful of putting a gift basket of treats for you
I agree… She is the best!💕
Cara Jane yea she is and you’re lucky 🍀
I’m 31 weeks and have to go back in for a CGT scan today. They also found protein in my urine and I’ve been feeling increased movements and feeling weak in my feet and body like you. What I love the most about this video is just how calm you are, it’s really refreshing, thank you x
Yawadimi
I 1980 I had same pregnancy had daughter c-section. 3 years later I had regular birth to a boy. and 18 months later another boy born natural. I was so worried about you guys. I prayed 3 times a day. I thought maybe you had corona virus or something went wrong. When I saw your vlog I jumped on it!!!!! Still Praying be careful
Oh wow!! That is really encouraging!! Thank you so much, Priscilla! That really means a lot! :):)
My wife was at work when her water broke. She was 2.5 months early. My oldest boy was born with a low apgar. 13 years later and he is a big healthy and is about to have his 14th birthday on April 13.
That's so encouraging!! Glad he's doing great now! ;)
Not remembering the birth sucks and the seizures are horrible. But all our babes turn out great
Thank God that your preeclampsia was caught in time!
Wow! That is definitely scary! And we are very thankful that I had my appointment that day!
Thanks for uploading your story I’m 32 wks and watching this makes me stay focus. Thank you 🙏🏿
Aww congrats!! Hope everything goes well for you! ;)
I went into spontaneous labour at 33+1. She was in NICU for 4 weeks and I was only 16. It’s a crazy amazing journey, she’s now 11 years old. Excited to have found your channel.
Thank you so much for sharing! It’s good to hear that she is doing well now!
I am watching this from hospital delivered my girl same in 33+1. This is our 3 weeks in hospital. I am hoping everything to go well.
CONGRATULATIONS, CARA & ERIC! *SHE'S BEAUTIFUL*She looks just like her daddy 😘❤😍
That’s crazy! Thank you so much for sharing! And yes, as long as they are healthy we can get through the rest!
Congratulations! I was getting worried because we hadn't seen you for awhile. What a sweet baby, glad your ok and can't wait for your future vlogs I always look for you each day as you always brighten my day. God bless you and your new little family!
Aww that is so sweet!! Thank you sooo much, Tami! We appreciate it! ;)
Girl I’m so glad you’re okay, the process seemed soooo exhausting and frustrating because of the uncertainty!!! So so crazy, can’t wait to hear the birth story💝💝. Congratulations again!!❤️❤️ Hope you’re feeling stronger!!
Thank you so much, Karina!! It was definitely a lot of uncertainty and waiting but now that it's all over it was worth every second of it! ;)
I'm so glad you and Quinn are ok! You were so brave and positive when facing a scary situation. That's a good example for everyone right now, so thank you! God bless you and your sweet family!
Is that the name? I didnt hear her say it
Thank you so much!! That means a lot! ;)
Thank you!! You're so sweet! And yes...mom mode definitely came out haha!! :)
Eric & Cara, Congratulations!!! I will pray for God's continued blessings for the 3 of you. Such a happy precious time.
Thank you, Wendy! We appreciate it so much!
Thank you for the update. So happy you are ok. She's so tiny & precious. Sending lots of love & prayers that she comes home soon. Congratulations, enjoy your daughter.
Thank you!!!
My boy was born 6 weeks early last year his birthday is 19.02.2019 💕
NICU mummas are strong mummas, there hard times with a baby in the NICU.
But we as women are built for these type of obstacles.
Congratulations to you guys!!! So Blessed. She is precious. God is so Good!!!
Thank you!
My brother was born 9 weeks premature, he was born by c- section so when he was out of my mum he was taken straight to the nicu ward. The reason they took him straight away is because he was blue, my mum only got to see him for a few seconds because she begged them. It was crazy, he's now a strong little 9 year old
Woow! So encouraging that he's doing so well now! :)
Thank you sooo much, Allison!! Yes, and I can't wait to share the full story! :)
Thank you for sharing! Glad you were doing well and hope she continues to grow strong!
So encouraging to hear similar stories!!! Thank you so much for sharing! Hope your baby is doing well now! ;)
SO GLAD YOU & YOUR SWEET BABY GIRL ARE DOING WELL!💗 Praying for y’all!☺️
Thank you, Emily! ;)
I found your channel with this video and so glad I did. Now I'm watching all your old videos. Eleven years ago I had my baby at 30 weeks.
Oh wow!! That’s super early! Hope you’re both doing well now!!
Yes thanks everything is great now.
My daughter was born on 27/3/2021...her due date was 18 May 2021...she stayed in NICU for 19 days...i’m enjoying your videos right now as an inspiration for my journey with my preemie. So thanks
Hope things are going well! Enjoy your first summer with her! ;)
Oh wow! That is definitely the best Christmas present! Thank you for sharing, we really appreciate that!
Congratulations, Mama!! You & Eric were so collected in the face of such a scary time. Bless your little family!
Thank you so much! Yes, I'm still surprised that I didn't stress out more! :)
Thank you so much, Emma! I still can’t even believe it… Seriously, no issues the whole pregnancy and then this comes out of nowhere haha! :)
I was born 8 weeks early and it was really hard on both my parents, especially my mum. you guys can and will get through this, i know you can xxx
Congratulations guys! There's nothing better than parenthood! So happy to hear that mom and baby are doing well!
Thank yooou!!
I just came upon your video somehow and wow I was due April 11th. And ended up having my baby February 28 due to the exact same thing. I’m so glad I saw this video. Thank you for sharing ❤️
NO way!!! I hope you and baby are doing well now!! :)
Wow! That's really interesting! No, I didn't thankfully! So good that you were able to wait that many more weeks to deliver!
I still can't even believe how early she made her appearance ❤️so happy you all are doing so well!
Me either!! So crazy!! Thanks, Julia! ;)
Babies can be born at 22 weeks and survive ❤️
Prayers for you! I’m 25 weeks and I got diagnosed with high blood pressure. I have test right now currently for preeclampsia. I’m so scared.
I’m new mom as well.
Wow that's crazy! I'm due in 3 days (April 12 as well!) so I'm still waiting for baby to arrive! I can't imagine having a baby at 33 weeks, you are so strong! Wishing you all the best :)
Aww congratulations!! Hope everything goes well for you! :) Thank you so much! ;)
How are yu?
I delivered April 21st at 33 weeks and 2 days gestation to my beautiful little boy via cesarean, due to Preeclampsia. I pretty much had the exact experience. It was horrible and scary. I hated all the needles, and the magnesium sulfate. Watching this was was like watching myself. Now I am learning how to be a NICU mom. Hugs from somebody who knows.🤗
Wow!! Crazy how similar our stories are!! Hope you're healing, and that your baby is growing and doing well! :)
Thank you so much! It was definitely scary, but the more time that passes, I love that it is our story now!💕
Gosh this brings back so many memories from when my little guy was born 8 weeks early 12/26/19.
We’re all so happy for you, and thanking God for taking care of all of you! Many of us were praying a lot!
Awww thank yooou! ;)
Congratulations on your baby girl. Glad you both are ok. She looks precious. 💕🌸💞👶
Thanks, Cindy! ;)
Wow! So great that she was only in the NICU for 16 days after been so early! Glad she's doing well now! ;)
Congrats to you on the birth of your beautiful baby girl and hope everything went well for you during the birth and God bless you and your beautiful baby girl and she is so adorable and you are going to be a great mom and spoil her. Love you, Matthew Carrubba from Oklahoma
Thank you so much!
New to your Channel.... Absolutely AMAZING the Calmness & strength you both showed during this scary time for You & Your Family....
HAPPY EASTER DAY.... GBY ALL 🙏❤💙💖🧸🤗✝️
Congratulations!!! So happy for you guys and I’m glad all THREE of you are healthy❤️❤️❤️
Thank you, Mariah! ;)
so thankful that your baby girl is doing well (I see little updates on Instagram). Crazy how life can change so quickly! You all continue to take care!
Thank you so much!! And yes...definitely so crazy! :)
Congratulations on the birth of Baby Cara
Justvfound this video in suggestions. Wow I'll be 33 weeks tomorrow and have already been dealing with high blood pressure. I'm sure mine is anxiety but definitely not ready to deliver yet. Congratulations, baby girl is adorable!!
Hope everything goes well for you! Thank you so much! 😊💕
just wanted to watch this again because quinn is 6 months old!! it's so crazy. she looks so tiny in this video, and now she's getting so big!! love you ❤️
Omg I can’t believe she is six months either! She has grown so much, it’s crazy!
@@CaraJane it is!! she looks so much like both of you 💗
Hypertension = high blood pressure. A lot of pregnant females will develop hypertension regardless of age or weight, its pretty common. Sometimes it is worse than other times. So glad they caught your condition before anything happened!
I just had my son on 4/9 and he was due 4/14. I’m so glad you and your baby made it out okay!! What a scary time for the both of you 😭😭
So crazy that I stumbled upon this video.
That’s crazy! Hope you are both doing well now! ❤️
Watching this while laying in labor bed. My water broke at 34 weeks. Baby will b in NICU. Prayers needed.
Everything happens for a reason Cara. You’re so strong. ❤️ Thank God you’re healthy and your baby girl as well
Yes, I agree!! Thank you so much! :)
She’s beautiful! your story is BEAUTIFUL. No matter how it happened ♡
Thank you so much! :)
Oh wow!! Thank you so much!! And I'm feeling a lot better now! ;)
awwh, congratulations!! perfect timing because your hair’s looking amazing lol🤪
Haha thank yoooou! Ya, at least I had just gotten my hair done! lol :)
You guys are a cute couple. God bless on your baby girl
Thanks, Susan!! ;)
Congratulations!! Praying for you and your family. I had high BP and delivered a month early. You’re a strong mama xoxo
Thank you so much!! Oh wow!! So interesting hearing similar stories to mine! :)
The medicine you got was magnesium sulfate and yes it makes you hot! I have a 6 year old daughter that was born at 27 weeks and 2 days...2 pounds 3 ounces 91 days in the NICU and a 4 year old son born at 27 weeks and 1 day
..2 pounds 8 ounces 76 days in NICU My goal was to make it to 34 weeks but it didn't happen but they are both completely healthy!
Wooow!! That must have been such a journey both times!! Thank you so much for sharing! :)
I am so glad everything went okay! Congratulations on your beautiful baby girl 💗 can’t wait to hear the full birth story! ✨God bless you and your family 🙏🏻
Thank you so much!!
I love your hair!! I'm so excited to follow you along your journey through parenthood!!
Thaaanks, Heather! ;)
My middle daughter was born 7 weeks early as well due to ruptured membrane she is healthy and super full of energy. She is very petite for her age she is 10 and still can wear size 5/6 clothing congrats on your baby
That's really scary! Encouraging to hear that's she's doing so well now though! ;) Thank you!
Aww so cute. Congratulations!! Can’t wait for future vlogs!! Love you guys ❤️
Thank you so much! I'm excited to share more baby vlogs! ;)
My son was born on January 11 2020. he was 8 weeks early and weighed 4.1lbs. He is now a chubby little sausage and so worth all the worry. So happy that your daughter is doing well :)
Aww that's encouraging!! Glad he's doing well! Thanks for sharing! ;)
thankyou cara
Was she born on February 27th? That’s my birthday. Congrats & best wishes to you all!
Yes she was!! Aww so cool! Thank you! :)
OMG THATS MY BIRTHDAY TOOO
Also my birthday 😍Awesome!
I would have to agree with your mom, she does look like Eric. Your hair looks great btw. ❤ Much love Sweetie!
You were so red when they found your hypertension at the doctor's office... It gives me anxiety.
I am glad everything was ok 🥰
Oh no! I hope you were able to wait a few weeks to! Let me know how everything goes for you! And thank you so much… We are definitely enjoying her!
@@CaraJane I made it to 35+6...inducing today. I am having a baby girl too!
Haha yeah, it's crazy how early it was! Thank you so much, Jessenia!! I appreciate it! ;)
Yes, we are so thankful that they caught it when they did! Hope everything goes OK for you… That is scary!
