Maybe a few questionable shots, but with the way he plays Tang we’ll take the bomb as he has a decent shot at making them. With a player like Nowell, you take the bad with the good, and most nights that’s worth it.

I can't help but think of Spud Webb - 5' 7" player who won the NBA slam dunk contest in 1986. He had a good NBA career - maybe Nowell is next. I was torn between admiration and wanting to puke when (injured) he made that RIDICULOUS off balance 3-pointer just before the shot clock expired. I never like to see any of these kids get hurt, but I have to confess, there was a part of me that wished that ankle injury was worse - shame on me, but I am only human - not sure Nowell is - that was superhuman.
From a lifelong Spartan - very well played guys! This one hurt, but I have spent a fair amount of time in "the Little Apple" years ago, and if we had to lose, I can't think of a team I'd rather lose to. Now go win it ALL!

@@jamesfox5105 idk man. Way back when k-state was in the 2012 NCAA tournament in Pittsburgh (before losing to Syracuse in 2nd round) we had some interactions with Ohio State and MSU folks who were also playing in the same region. Both of those fanbases were pretty chill- Syracuse fans...not so much

I’m not a Kansas State or Michigan State fan, but I appreciate sports & this game was BEAUTIFUL. This is sports!! I’ve rewatched this game >5 times. Kudos to both teams. Kansas state was mesmerizing.
Nowell has to be one of the best pure pgs I've seen in awhile. Really comparable to a cp3 or a nash. You don't see many people who can really get the whole team involved and have a double double with assists from the PG. I'm rooting for them
What a show. Michigan St was lights-out from 3. And so consistent from the stripe… This win was more than Nowell & KJ. Carter had the best game I’ve seen from him all season. Massoud was definition clutch. Sills playing hard as always when we need momentum. Ngessan made some big time put-backs. Tomlin was passing dimes. Tang and the coaching staff letting these players be themselves.… and only 5 TURNOVERS. I’m so grateful as a KSU alum to watch the harmony. Love this team and proud no matter how far they go

As a 7th seed Michigan State gave Kansas State all they could handle. They went much farther than most thought they would. Congratulations to Kansas State.
As a diehard Spartan fan this was one of the best games to ever witness and last night I was sad, disappointed and heartbroken I don’t even care about Basketball anymore but I will be rooting for Kansas State they are special especially with Nowell and Keyontae Johnson good luck y’all
I like exciting games but my gosh both defenses were horrible. FAU is going to be a completely different game for the cats. They better come ready. Would be surprised if neither team makes it to 70 points.
Kansas State’s assist / passing game is elite. When you think you are on top them they make some crazy pass to score. Michigan State played so well, but it is so hard to contain K-State.
hauser a good shooter but he a liability on multiple occasions his spacing was terrible and he has no awareness of where the ball is on defense he caused them valuable points in clutch moments of the game
13:44 The wherewithal to be talking to your coach and still see that pass was amazing! That coach must be amazing! I played for a coach in high school that even if you did make that play he would’ve yelled at you for not finishing the conversation and listening to him first. 🤦♂️

Truly feel MSU would have done more than KSU did had they been able to overcome this game.
