Thank you for for reviewing the base model. So many reviewers only do the very top models of vehicles which are so much more expensive and has a lot of bells and whistles that I don’t need. I think the Civic Lx has a lot of great features and has the Honda reliability!

@@Kevin83184 They done the same for the CRVs in 2023 but then three months later they released it. I haven't heard anything from American Honda, just have to wait and see

They’re probably producing the more profitable models. Hyundai does the same thing; you can find limited all days on the lot, but no SEs

I have a 2011 Honda Cvic LX coupe and a 2010 Windows 7 Dell XPS laptop. With the exception of some of the safety features like camera, and the warning for changing lanes, I prefer the looks and less complicated features of both old models way back then.

That's all fine and dandy, but unfortunately you will have to play catch up at some point. With how fast technology evolves nowadays you can't just stay 12 years in the past all the time

My lx came with all the bells and whistles, but with all dealer add ons made it a 33000.00 Dollar car. Traded a sport model lease with the beginnings of oil dilution for the newer 2024. Also bought extra warranty just in case
Congratulations on your new Honda
I don't think most consumers would object to dealer chosen add-ons representing 10-15% of the MSRP BUT thousands is outright criminal and anti-consumer. This will not include then additional fees in the contract of other dealer costs. Heaven help the working class consumer if they finance through this dealer.
Just tell them you don't want the add-ons. If they refuse buy somewhere else. Simple.
I just got the 2024 Honda civic sedan lx. How do you get rid of the menu on the left of the dashboard? I mean it should be easy, right? Thanks!
There's a button on the steering wheel that looks like a house.. select that and should take you back.
Does the auto stop feature stay disabled when the button is pushed or does it have to be pressed everytime you go for a drive?
You need to select it every time you start the vehicle if you want it disabled.
How do you check car temp? Is it the same on higher trims? Thanx.
There will be a light that comes on when the vehicle is hot or cold.

In the American Honda Market, 2021 Honda Civics was the last year that offered Honda Lane Watch. 2022 year models were completely redesigned which then replaced the Honda Lane Watch with Blind Spot Information System. I haven't found a method to improve the blurry effect, sorry but I would have google it as well.
Can you open the truck from the outside with key fob on the 2024 Civic LX?

Unfortunately no. Blind Spot can NOT be added or installed afterward

no, only the Touring trim has the SiriusXM

Yes, all the Civic have the Idle stop feature.
Is there a model with a sun roof besides the 1.5
nope, the the trim levels with the 1.5T (EX and Touring) for the sedans or (EX-L and Sport Touring) for the Hatchbacks
LX has manual trunk release button at the back?
I believe so if I recall correctly
Why did they take away the coolant temperature gauge?
I'm guessing 🤔 it was because they added other items on the driver's interface that they wanted to not have too much overwhelming. So they replaced that with a light. I'm just guessing here
I wish I can connect my phone and see the central screen show me what I see on my phone. Android auto is limiting and restrictive
I'm assuming that you have checked for updates for the app or phone. If so, maybe checking their website so see if your phone is compatible with Android Auto.
U can buy a device cost 60-70 bucks that makes this screen a android screen

Many compact sedans have rear vents underneath the front seats for air flow regulations.

Tax varies from state to state.
$136 for wheel locks is robbery, but especially on a vehicle equipped with steel wheels and hub caps? ROFL
I don't control nor hide what the dealership put on their vehicle, while that varies between dealerships. but my main focus is to share the standard features and functions of the vehicles. Thanks for watching
@@CrazyAutoChris fair points! thanks for the reply. If you work for this dealership I would ask that you recommend they not waste their time putting wheel locks on steelies though. I'm sure most people don't give it a second thought but to people who know better it just starts the interaction off on the wrong foot.
I hear you clicking the key fob button repeatedly. Does it not work each press? Who wants a car with a poor quality key fob?!
Double clicking the buttons on the fobs don't hurt it. Buttons are meant to be use, just like on remotes and controllers.
I see your dealership puts useless, overpriced options on the car based on the sticker next to the real sticker.
I can't control what the dealership decides to put on their vehicles and didn't attempted to hide anything but the whole point was to share all the standard features and functions for you know beforehand. Thanks for watching
Max speed 160
Most modern vehicles have a built-in speed limiter called a governor. I wouldn't be surprised if the 2.0-liter naturally-aspirated engine allows the car to reach a top speed in around 130s or just a little less 🤔
Nope, the older ones look nicer the 2017, 2018 & 2019
