FYI For generic ez ryde mounting. - keeping in mind i am posting this at the end of 2020, ezryde is long closed up shop, and this message is in no way endorsed by anyone but me. BUT- To define the center measurement for the holes of the front mounting point, or skid ARM mounting point, they should be the same distance away from your drive shaft as your crank shaft. For example 2012 polaris sb assaul 800 cc of crank and cc of my relocated driveshaft is 11.75" so im going to mount my shaft 23.5" back from my crank shaft. This is also the spot where you should put your toes on to have best control of the forces of the sled moving forward. As you move back you increase weight transfer and ski lift. Move forward to have better ski control for slower speed turns, "dangl'n" ect.
Here I am 2 years later watching louis’ vids cause i picked up two ez ryde skids fully assembled and wanted to throw one of them on an edge chassis mod sled. Thank you thank you for the info!
sorry I was trying to say that I am new to my ski-doo and she has been sitting around for 4 years before I got it but it runs very good she needs so work to make it go faster then 75..
Why aren't you putting any reinforcing brackets for mounting locations? I would be worried about the aluminum plate bending. It's kinda sitting out there in the middle of nowhere.
The sled is coming along great, it looks awesome cant wait to see it all done

Well alot of things are put together with bolts. :P
its alot harder when your doing this with a 81 citation it cant be in the air you have to have 8 guys on the back to get the springs down.

I thought the same, seems a bit flimsy, but time will tell.
I want to take a 2005 mxz with a 121" track and buy 151" suspension off a 2005 mxz, would i be able to do that instead of buying an ezryde?
What is the distance measurement from front mounting hole to rear mounting hole?
Whats The name on The outro musik? :) getting to love how The sled look like now :D
What would you prefer ez ride or the light weight mono?Nice vid!
i got a 2004 rev and i am thinking of doing a rail extension from a 121 to 136 or maybe 144 would u recommend it
Do you still have the old EZ-Ride suspension, I'm building a mod sled, and wondering if you'd be able to give it up for a descent price
I noticed on some of your vids you don't run a laminator strap? Why is that
Hi I'm new to snowmobiles what suspensions will fit in a 05 rev 600
I want to put a 155 on my 96 polaris 600 xcr sp not sure what skid or parts i might need
any ideas .
That thing should fly at 100mph +
I live less then 5 mins away from were they make ezy ride
Could I do 137 to 144 it’s about 3.5 inch different
Yes but youll need to make an extension
What happened to episode #19? Is it the private video in the playlist?
