- The two Danish commantators go crazy after Staale Sandbech puts his final run in the Sochi 2014 Olympic Snowboard Slopestyle competition.

Sandbechs run was better imo. Kostenburg only won cuz he was doing japan Grabs
I agree. Sandbechs reaction says it all. I think the snowboarders themselves know who should of won just as much as the judges
I'm sorry but that's incorrect. Sage's run was better. Let's not talk about the style because they both have tons of it. (Even though Kotsenburg was switchin up the grabs, Stale wasn't..)

Trick: SWFS Hardway 270> SWFS 270
2nd Feature: StaleKotsenburg
Trick: FS Boardslide 450 out> 50-50 bs 180 melon out
4th Feature: Stale
Sage Kotsenburg had a hand touch on the two last jumps. With Kotsenburg's hand touch in mind and Sandbech's perfect landing, it's definitely Sandbech > Kotsenburg on the last jump.

You have to consider that it was an "ordinary" Bs triple indy vs the first ever bs 1620 japan (he was even going for the holy crail)
And Kotesenburg did grabs that were waaaaay much harder then Stale's

i think sage deserved the win, im norwegian and have personally met Ståle in Tryvann and is a big fan. Sage did tricks never been done before, it should be rewarded, snowboard is not about doing the same tricks over and over again, do special grabs like japan air, holy crail, double tail grab, bloody dracula, Nuclear Method, list goes on and not regular grabs like indy and mute
