    This performance was a revelation. In making the music the top priority over everything else, Hadelich unveils the poetry and rhythmic structure in ways I’ve never heard before. Too many virtuosos use this piece as a vehicle to show off. But Hadelich is more than a mere virtuoso. He’s an artist of the highest caliber. Thank you for sharing this with us!!

    • @Jabafish
      @Jabafish 4 года назад +8

      I don't think using a lot of 'virtuoso' is always especially for showing off. I think why you shouldn't use to much of that is because it will loose it's clarity and meaning because of using to much technique.

      In my VERY amateur opinion, I agree with you. Mr. Hadelich is not “showing off”, but rather melding with the music. The music is the being that is showing off, as it should be.

    Lieber Augustin Hadelich,
    vielen Dank für deinen Kanal, den ich sehr gern mag und immer wieder besuche. Ich möchte dir auch sagen, wie gelungen und inspirativ ich das Animé finde, dass du in deinem Kanal veröffentlicht haben: Es ist nicht einfach, Charme, Witz und Wärme hineinzutragen in solch eine Animation, vieles wirkt heute kalt und abweisend durch die digitale Erstellung, aber bei dir ist das brillant gelöst, man taucht gleich sofort in die Atmosphäre ein und bleibt dann bis zum letzten Ton gefesselt, - die 17 war jetzt nie eine meiner Lieblingscapricen, ich hatte sie, um ehrlich zu sein, noch nicht einmal mehr im Kopf, aber du bzw. dein gezeichnetes Alter Ego spielen das so gigantisch gut und alles im bewegungsreichen Zusammenspiel mit den Katzen (und ihren unterschiedlichen Charakteren), dass man nur so staunen kann und die Musik danach wesentlich besser versteht. Die ganze Sache ist völlig neuartig, finde ich, ganz singulär!
    Besonders gut gefällt mir auch dein Video hier mit der Skyline und Ysaye 6, erst dachte ich, dass würde überhaupt nicht zusammengehen können, aber je länger ich zusehe und -höre, umso besser gefällt mir die Kombination von Bild und Ton, es ist eine ganz einartige und eigenwillige Mischung, die etwas in mir auslöst. Nun möchte ich dir alles Gute wünschen, bleib' weiterhin eine Inspirationsquelle für viele Menschen in unterschiedlichsten Kontinenten,
    best, Chris :)
