Kendrick didn’t defend r Kelly personally it was more about separating art from the artist. He brought up plenty of white artist who have done some deplorable shit whose music, movies and other forms of art are still accessible.

I have listened to way more kendrick in my life than Drake, ive seen him live and never seen drake live, i think good kid bad city is the best album between the two, and i might have Damn as the second best (while i respect to pimp a Butterfly, i personally find it hard to get through, same with mr Morale) and besides Hieroglyphics, and maybe the Roots whom i followed Phish around one summer in HS cause they were opening for them, but besides those two I've seen mosdef live more than any other artist, which i only bring up given his opinion on Drake... and for the record i don't think Drake can do what kendrick does great, but Drakes the better battle rapper, if your familiar with kendricks albums its never been clever punchlines or fliping lines that made him great, but thats what to me makes a diss track great, punching in clever ways, flipping lines, rebuttaling, entendres and shit... and the two best written songs in this battle are Family Matters and where the heart is, and while like us was a well written track, and even it only had 3 hard bars, and the hardest one the A Minor bar drake made harder in this track by fliping it followed by an entire musical note scheme! Lyrically i might give euphoria credit for being decent although the rhyme scheme was simply the bare minimum to call it a song, paired with a delivery closer to reading a textbook than rapping! its harder to be lyrically great while crafting a good sounding song than to barely rhyme.. but even ignoring that, Drakes joints were written better, push ups i actually think is probably the third best written track, and meet the graham's is the worse written one with punchlines like "i wish you would die" and "i hate you" and "i hate the way you dress", without any layers to it or even just saying shit in a clever or cool way... Kendrick had a few hard bars between all his tracks like the sunseeker and nail polish bars, but each track from drake especially this joint and family matters are completely full of them, not to mention its looking more and more like while the hidden daughter shit isn't true, that the shit drake revealed actually is...
Let me know when you find proof of Kendrick hitting his wife. Mind you don’t over speculate mr. Morale like Drake did lol

• Kendrick’s songs, except ‘Not Like Us’ aren’t really re-playable unless you’re in that specific mood
• Drake’s records are easy to re-listen to, catchy, can bop my head to.. Kendrick’s are kinda boring musically
• Drake’s production value (songs, video) is of higher quality
• Drake’s beat choices I think are better
