Kendrick also talks about the trauma he got from no one belieivng him and how he started rapping to cope with it. Drake is pressing on that trauma but once again telling Kendrick he was molested. And anyone saying the song is only about kendricks mom is an idiot. It is about his mom too but he starts with how his mom kept asking him if his cousin molested him and wouldnt believe him when he said no and it really fucked him up for life.

I feel like this is an absolute call-out to what Drake did on this one. Kendrick basically assumed Drake would misunderstand the whole Mr. Morale album and obviously the specific track "Mother I Sober" (or already had wind of the bars he was about to put down about it), which either way he totally did.
I'm sure I am not the first person to pick up on this but wanted to put it out here for discussion.
Clearly if Drake doesn't have an 11year old daughter, Kendrick is worse..he sophomoric.

good to finally come across a unbias reaction,too many people have made up their minds before listening to the actual bars.
I think Drake is saying that even though Kdot didn’t personally get molested, he was a victim of it regardless. Kendrick says a bar about being 5 and hearing everything, and that he should’ve went for the gun but couldn’t cause he was young. He was asked if he was touched from a young age because it was a broken family and part of his mother’s expectations. (All in Mother I Sober). Regardless, I think Drake is insinuating that Kendrick is a victim of molestation at a young age, whether physically or mentally. And therefore, projecting these narratives onto Drake and some of his relationships within the industry, whether professional or not. I like that yall stay unbiased though. We really need receipts from both camps, but I got a feeling they may never release it because it’s too damaging to either of them. Metro Boomin tweeted something about how if he exposed Drake, he would expose himself, and that he would save them both by not releasing it. I highly doubt it’s real given that Metro is salty asf on twitter these days, but they did fight over something for sure. Kendrick on the other hand, if he really did beat his wife and hired a PR team to clean it up, probably from the fact she cheated with Dave Free and had a kid (who knows, he really puts her on a pedestal Tbf), that’s also something so damaging. Time will tell, as always. I don’t think this is over, but I’m not sure how it will conclude, or if it ever will. I don’t see them releasing those receipts. They either (A) sweep it under the rug and move on at some point, or (B) come to an agreement with both parties and continue with our normal industry where everyone is a collaborative option again. (C) is worst case; they drop more diss tracks and one of them finally comes out with the truth, ending the others career, or at least staining it in some way. Kendrick falling into the fake daughter shit doesn’t look good for his credibility, so I’m more inclined to believe Drake for that.

Kendrick didn’t deny any of Drake’s allegations in any of the diss tracks he dropped. He has remained silent about all of it, which tells me there’s some truth to it, and he doesn’t want to deny it now and be proven a liar later. Regardless, there are questions about his life now, and the answers will be found. The truth will come out, no matter how much Kendrick (or his fans) want it to remain hidden. And it will no doubt be ugly.
A LOT OF PEOPLE reveled in the idea of Kendrick dissing Drake, but didn’t factor in the potential consequences for Kendrick. Drake wasn’t lying at the end of that middle verse in Family Matter when he said:
“I’m going on vacation now, hope next time y’all plan it right.
‘Cause you gotta pay for saying my name, guess now niggas understand the price.”
The price for Kendrick may seem small now, but I suspect that price will grow substantially in the near future and beyond, once the truth starts coming out.
