I have very thick very wavy hair and on impulse I had my hair cut into a bob in March 🤦♀️ its at that awkward stage where it just reaches my shoulders. I can't wait till I can put it into a ponytail without looking like a founding father
Im growing my hair and the (very expensive) stylist from a reputable salon just cut the back into a blunt... "Bob" I guess?? That after multiple explanations & layered pictures. I now have a medium brown, blunt "hairstyle" 😖 instead of blonde & soft face framing layers. I said exactly what you explained in the video..😭😭😭😭 I hate a bob or any blunt, sharp hairstyle on me. Love your videos & this one made me feel better.. you dont have to live with a mushroom style till its grown out ❤
I think the secret is that to soften a blunt cut you can simply add a few layers without removing too much length. I think the issue normally is avoiding a cut when trying to grow out a cut.
I'm excited you are growing yours out cuz I sooooo loved watching you cut n style your longer hair. Will be fun to see where you take your hair journey next, lol. I'm gonna get that dryer. I've never had anything like at and at 57 you I need all the energy saving tips I can get with my CFS/ME, cheers.
Sincerely, I just curl mine _all_ over & let it do *whatever tf* it wants to do. Crazy curls cure everything... except for debt, they don't pay your bills. 😂😂😂❤
I'm not going to say never but I hope I don't ever cut my hair in a bob again. This makes the third time I have had a bob; I forgot years ago I nicknamed it "Boring Bob". I admire bobs on others but not on myself, I want some length again, I don't like a locked in hairstyle. It's going to take me a year or so to get what I want again. I don't like anything high maintenance, style or color. Does anyone else feel this way.
I hear this a lot, I truely loved having a bob! It was the maintenance I was over at this point. But the quick styling and I think chic vibes as totally worth it. I think I may do it again in the future. It has also been lovely to give my hair a healthy reset!
Omg you are barking up my tree with the blow dryer! I have an inventory of blow dryers with features I do not like and this one looks spot on! Thank you !
I’m growing out a “Diva Cut,” and I cut about two inches off around my head just to get my natural density and volume back. Although I’m not sure how to get the front part looking right, so for now, it’s all about barrettes and hair bands. I don’t want to ruin it further or return to the salon and have them fleece me again. If this whole situation is teaching me anything, it’s patience. 😅 What I did wind up with is a long bob, just picture that with curls.
If I never see another big on British tv again I'll be happy ..Bobs can look elegant ..but they can also be quite aging with us 50' something women..I.much prefer that mid length slightly shabby image you showed ,far less harsh
This was a lonngggg commercial for that dryer.

Maybe you can do a do it yourself tutorial on how to incorporate slight changes to your grown out look. ❤️👍🏼
this is a good idea, for the next time I need a little more shape to share with you what I do.

thank you, looking forward to the journey and sharing with you all!
Yep I am in this stage right now with my layered bob
I feel like a lot of us are, lets do this together!
Thanks….I’am at that grow out stage as well with curly hair. I had to chop it off short to get rid of years of using henna.😮☺️

When you trim your hair do you do it yourself or do you go to another stylist?

I love the length of your hair!
My hair is about the same length as yours & I'm wanting to grow it long again. Which round brush are you using and/or do you recommend?
Hi Sylvia😊
Don’t be mad…… but I have missed your long hair! Do you have an opinion on the Laifen vs. Dyson dryers? Always love your soothing voice❤️
I bought the Laifen and I love it! It's better than the Dyson.
The bob suits you very good. I loved it on you...
I’m growing mine out at the moment, it’s at that annoying length 😭
I had A-line Bob .then my hairdresser cut little short 😅 after a month oh no more to much work so im it growing it back out
I have a longer LOB but not sure because it is one length it has grown out a lot in the front is so much longer than the back any suggestions?
Are they sold in Europe?
I don’t know why but o really don’t like bobs. I might get one when I’m 55 or 60
They are not for everyone but if you don't like bobs you should get one even at 55 or 60.
@@Ellebangs I don’t think I can pull off long hair too much at 55-60 maybe a layered lob 😂😂
Where is ur beautiful necklace from? Ie. The crazy lady with two of her children who saw you in wc was me!!! Didn’t want to bother you. 😝
