Hi David, thank you for an excellent review of a great mentalism utility device. I own several of Eric's clear/visible ziplock utility switch bags. This looks like a really nice change bag. If I didn’t already have more than a dozen others (some very similar and others a lot different) I’d be tempted to get this. It is a bit pricey but, as you say, it’s something than can be used in probably hundreds of different ways. Every magician should have change bags and this one comes with three of them. It wouldn’t be unusual to use two of them in two different effects in the same show.

Wow $150….this leads me to a thought I’ve always had. Sometimes a creator has an idea and it takes them way more to make than they originally thought or there were manufacturing issues and that’s why some things seem over priced. Like this IMO.

How complex is the design of the bag? I understand it is durable but how complex is it?

150 for this? You can make a clear forcing bag at home for a couple of bucks, and some for an opaque switch bag. Even better is if you diy you can use fabric rather than plastic.

@@magicorthodoxy you can buy other clear switch bags for far cheaper than this, even if you can’t make one yourself. But the arts and crafts isn’t that difficult.
Maybe I’m missing something but this seems like it’s way too over priced for something that already exists on the market. I think Osterlind taught how to make one in one of his dvd sets, which you can get multiple effects for the price of this one.
The community needs to stop supporting people charging such high prices when not warranted. You can pick up PMM me 13 steps hand have material for years including how to make a switch envelope that you can adjust to make a bag. All that for far far less than this.
