Great work, a lot of care and detail when removing the parts and carrying out general cleaning, I really admire your commitment and work, keep it up congratulations🧰👏
Nice and dry inside.... not filled with water and rusted springs. That's why I usually coat the inside of the stantions with the calcium based marine grease too. And fully coat the springs before reassembly. So there is no bare steel surfaces inside. I would also smear a thin layer of suspension grease on the out side of the stantions to make sure that surface is also fully coated. Yeah it probably is once it assembled, but it doesn't hurt. The excess can be wiped clean at the end. I obviously have done this with many winter commuters. Don't know why they stopped putting boots on these to keep dust and dirt off the stantions either , maybe it unnecessary most of the time. Good video and good to see the Suspension grease on the slider it really does make a difference.
Hello. Congratulations on this excellent video. I was searching for such a thing for quite a while and stumbled upon it . The forks you serviced are exactly the same as mine and I now feel confident to do the job myself. I have a couple of questions and how you can help further: What brand of grease is the green one in the syringe What brand of grease is the white one in the tin. SRAM butter ? Right? Lastly. Were there any new parts used or you simply cleaned old? I ask because I’m trying to source a service kit for these forks
Cordialement.
Great vid. Interesting how its a simple job but requires specific tools to access the internals. The one thing i dont understand, why does one side require a special suspension grease and not both sides?
I always love the custom made tools in most of your videos. This is truly smart! 👍
glad to be of service! thanks for your feedback 😘

what is the size of the fork seal xcm sr suntour ?
30 mm, but it is better to measure your fork or look for a specific model
Hello what type of grease do you use for the fork
Hello. Liquid oil is not required for this type of fork. On moving parts - Divinol Fett Top 2003, for rubber dusters - sram butter
@@NiceBikeService Thanks alot
Dexter works on his mtb during a weekend off. 😉
what arm is that holding the fork? what brand 8:10
SuperB
Boa noite Está suspensão tem como calibrar o ar dela

Je vous remercie pour votre commentaire. Il s'agit de Divinol Fett Top 2003, mais vous pouvez utiliser une autre graisse.
@@NiceBikeService Bonjour,
Merci, quelle sorte d’autre graisse ?
What product do u use in this video?
I have an sr sunntour rideon it's similar but, have 2 in one damper control.
thank you for your comment! 😘

Thank you for your comment. Thick grease is used in both parts of the fork, liquid grease is not used in this model of fork

My bike doesn't have suspension .
It's easier for you, no need to maintain the bike fork😺
Nobody is perfect... 😅😅😅
👍👏👏👏🇺🇦
😺👋🇺🇦
The End... 👍
thank you for your comment! 😘
Oglądałem jak zahipnotyzowany ;) Dobry film,😁👍😀🙋
cieszę się, że mogę pomóc! dzięki za opinię 😘
I think I'll just leave my suspension alone.
If you have a suntour, you don't have to worry😸
This sr suntour are bullet proof 😅
Nice video, thank you! And two cats, yeeeesss!!😸😻😻 double the fun 😹
Cats say hello to you😻😽😺
I had these shocks on my Trek 4300; they were ok at best. I'm hoping to order a pair of 26" Rock Shox Recon TK Silver for about $450.00🍁 with tax👍👍
Good choice, such forks will be much better
@NiceBikeService Definitely better quality aluminum. I think the steerer tube is 7050 aluminum 👍👍
Stopped watching after the toothbrush. It would be cheaper for me to buy a new fork than to buy all the needed tools.
