I would be all too happy to walk into my local reptile store and find these enclosures for tarantulas! such a great design. my boyfriend has one that is always trying to push it's way out. it's so freaky to watch the determination! it actually escaped yesterday when he forgot to put one of the zip ties back on, but was found safely. anyways, excellent idea! really enjoy your content!

Gonna be honest, I started watching your videos from a random click on your "Feeding the Devil" video and I have loved all the content since. You're a genuine person with a true passion to this exotic hobby that really is contagious. I grew up terrified of spiders and as you've mentioned before, these videos have not only helped with my arachnophobia but I'm now excited to slowly get into this hobby as well. Thank you!

I wish people would learn, that a c in front of e, i, y, are pronounced as S. And c in front of a, o, u, are pronounced as K, in Latin.
So, therefore Poecilotheria is not Pokloteria. It's Poesilotheria.
And it's not Pokies. It's Posies.
      Please spred the word.
      Best wishes from.
      Bo.

Glad to see the Segestra florentina! It is big! Love your enclosure design. I have seen someone crowdfunding an acrylic vivarium that is completely interlocking similar to the locks on your door. It uses no glue. If I find the link I'll post.

I know I'm late to this video- but that acrylic enclosure is such a wonderful 'rough' attempt - if I could make something half that good, I'd be showing it to everyone and their mum!
I love the locking idea - would it be an idea to maybe attach the small ''lock' piece to string or even chain that goes between the small piece and the enclosure, so when it is not in use it just hangs from the side of the cage?
You could definitely sell them if you ever needed money!x

Hey for a first attempt at an acrylic enclosure pretty good! So you managed to source the acrylic and glue in the end....mine should be all setup and finished soonish (well am after some plants n rethinking decorations..one looks great). Well waiting on the T's to moult as well!
Am finding out about doing in bulk next week to see if it's worthwhile doing. Nice Poecilotheria! Am not too keen on the species so far because mine is so reclusive. Maybe it will change! (same goes for my Tigrinawesseli...skittish as hell).

Your beautiful POECILOTHERIA is most likely a female... (does not appear to have the dark half-moon shaped pattern called the epiandrous fusillae, between the top book lungs - and the lungs have a wider gap).
Hopefully, sometime soon, you will get to have an Australian species of tarantula - Phlogius, Coremiocnemis, Selenotypus or Selenotholus spp.
    Love your new arboreal enclosure!
... and Keep up the great work!!
    G'day mate from Australia!

I have a HUUUUUGE fearof spiders, particularly big hairy ones. For some strange reason, I find myself watching all of your videos, and I dont freak out any more when I see your T's on camera! You have a lovely way of engaging the audience, and I find it extremely interesting, so I just had to keep watching, and thinkI have watched all of your uploads now! At the beginning, I would do my usual, and hide my face when the spider was on screen, break out in red blotches and my heart would race. Now I dont experience any of that when watching your vids, and have found myself feeling that some of your T's are quite cute! I never EVER thought I could watch a T vid without freaking out. Thank you

They really do! I only stumbled upon your Molting video by chance, and since then I have been hooked on your channel! I love your communication, your personality and how you educate me on T's. You show the spider in a true and honest way, which has calmed me a lot over the course of me watching you. People pay hundreds to get over fears like this, and yet you have made the first step for me in the fact I dont react in a terrified way. I also am a crafter/Hobbyist, so love seeing you make the enclosures too. I think your very clever. Thank you so much, honestly, for helping me combat this huge fear, just by being you. I bet you never thought your videos would help arachnophobia sufferers? lol

Have more confidence in yourself. You are a natural in front of the camera. I also like how you put your mistakes in. Shows you are human and not putting on a show. I think people are drawn to how 'real' and 'honest' you are, along with a good sense of humour and the knowledge you pass on xx

Such a great guy to listen to videos are really easy and extremely interesting to watch!
Not going to lie i have been terrified of spiders my whole life up until i was about 18. I then realised that there is no point in being afraid of something that realistically is a lot more scared of me than i am of it. Now I'm 20 and am becoming more and more fascinated everyday with spiders. I would love a tarantula they are such amazing and interesting creatures to watch. Just need to do a hella lot more research as i am a begginer in this line of hobby 😎 either way your videos have opened my eyes to an entire different world of hobbies! Thanks man!!

Might not be able to climb to plastic, but if it starts to web on the plastic and dirt starts to collect on the sides it definitely will be able to climb the plastic. I've had wolf spiders and white tailed spiders who've climbed up to the lid even though they can't actually climb plastic

Greetings from Scotland. I enjoy watching all of your vids and hope to own my very first terrestrial or trap door T one day in the future as I intend to start an ant colony. Once that is established after 1 or 2 years I might know which T suits me best after lots of research and learning the scientific name for the one I want. Keep up the great work on these vids, you don't get enough credit for the work, detail and effort you put in your vids. Every time I watch your vids it makes me want to buy a T and defo cheers me up after a stressful day at work.

Maybe you can make a bigger lock with the 2 little pieces connected together with a thin, but long piece of acrylic? Hope you get what i mean ;)

i am 99.9% positive you have a female. The sling most likely past away due to the way you housed it. Slings need to be up off the moisture, not in it to absorb humidity. they will drowned in water or wet papper towels easily.

In Latin names, c in front of e, i, y, are pronounced as, S. Then, c in front of a, o, u, are pronounced as K.

Instead of them small bits of plastic why don't you keep it closed with a elastic band . . . When you close it put a elastic band from the top hook to the bottom hook and it should not open then

Could you connect the small pieces with a stick? Make it one piece instead of two.
