To 'eck with breakfast, that would be a nourishing pie for supper, easily prepared and cooked in advance [would use puff pastry though] and could also be made into individual pies if needed. Sounds lovely and I could almost smell it through the screen.

Well I’ve been making a Sausage, egg and bacon pie since the early 70’s nothing new in this exactly the same method as mine except I use puff pastry
Too bad I don’t eat most of the items shown as they do look delicious 😋 🤤

What is ''over easy'' please? I keep seeing it mentioned in books but have no idea how you cook eggs that way.
@@AveCaesar2025 Over easy refers to how the egg is fried. Meaning turn the egg over and cook it easy. You may have heard of Sunny side up as, meaning the egg is not turned over, the yellow yolk is showing looking like the sun. It's a US thing.

That was bollocks he just took the cooked breakfast items cooked by the staff then put some shop bought pastry on it and called it a pie. It was just stuff other people cooked with a pastry lid. NOT A PIE!!!

What is black pudding?
Black pudding is a sausage that is black because its main ingredient is pig's blood, it also contains fat and spices. It comes in sausage casing and it's delicious. Look it up on google and then translate it if you are not in an English speaking country.
Thank you! This sounds exactly like a Hungarian sausage called "Hurka." Not my cup of tea but I know of it since my ancestors were from Hungary.
