It wouldn't suprise me to hear they completely re-did the game, judging from how insanely different the beta is compared to what we got.

Impact time at 10:04, does sound like an indicator ticking sound, but also sounds like a ticking clock as well, the seconds that happen before and after a crash, or even the seconds before the driver... passes on- Or the fact that after a crash, usually the hazard lights turn on as well. In the final, the ticking sound is muffled, but you can still make it out, and they added more dramatic melodies and sounds to it.

9:00 you did it, perfect timing of that female scream of that blue classic 70s sedan sliding and avoiding the crash in the right side of the screen representing like an example of this aftertouch scene (not that yellow cab and that bright grey INT van)

9:00 well the screaming Impact Time one you can actually hear on the final version, but, only on the XBOX version or playing the PS2 disc on a PS3.

I noticed in the beta that the drivers inside doesn't die or something, they deform in the same time with the car
