So blessed to hear from both couples. Must be so comforting to have someone with you. I was diagnosed with MS in 1999. Husband left in 2015 after 30+ years of marriage. Scary on my own at times. Walker, wheelchair, about to turn 70. BUT it has drawn me closer to the Lord and for that I am grateful.
You 2 couples have the gift of love that few ever experience in this life. What a treasure you each have in one another. Katherine & Joni I admire your resilience of humbling yourself to the need of your husband's help with such grace, integrity, & elegance. Jay & Ken how encouraging to encounter 2 men who reflect you are "a man after Gods own heart." Your marriage-teamwork reflects God so clearly. Crystal clearly. Thank you SO much for sharing your lives with us.
This was wonderful. So inspiring. My hubbie and I are in our 80's...I have endometrial cancer, aggressive, my hubbie has prostate cancer and our 55 yr old daughter passed away suddenly from a heart attack 7 weeks ago. All this, this last year. We are just going through the motions of life right now. My hubbie and daughter took care of me during treatment and I took care of hubbie during his treatment. Now I have to have heart surgery. I feel ourselves pulling away from the Lord and going into our own grieving. We are married 64 yrs. You all give me hope. God bless all of you.❤❤❤
Congratulations on your story of your own story of resilience. You give me hope that I can endure the hard storm with Jesus as you so bravely do Barbara🌹
You are all an inspiration to me; this is so refreshing and that you want the best for each other. Truly God’s grace and mercy is all over this, thank you for sharing❤️🤗🫶🙌🙏
Beautiful, insightful, and honest interview!!! I am encouraged to know that the uplifting to Jesus is your strength ❣️ Thank you for such deep helpful questions and answers!!!! God bless you all ✝️
Thank you for this! I’m married to an amazing man who acquired my disability and I would put him in the same category as Ken and Jay, my best friend. My person. Bless you all.
Very powerful interview! Having had multiple diagnoses over 50 years has left me in pain 24/7 for most of my life.Your sharing encouraged my spirit/mind. The added dimension of suffering in a marriage comes with a host of difficulties. But we must turn to Christ and we must communicate in marriage to make it work. Thank u thank u 🇨🇦 ❤PS finishing well or suffering well is our goal as well
