My husbands family is from Guatemala and my mom in law will bring us some pollo campero from the original spot and nothing beats that fried chicken. Also, you have to get the beans and tortillas on the side. Another thing, the locations in America do not compare to the original one. Sad you guys did not enjoy it hunnies! I’m not that big of a fan of it here in the states tho so I get it 😊

I absolutely luv Pollo Campero. That’s the chicken they have in El Salvador. Hubby is Salvadoran and for years we thought pollo campero was originated in El Salvador until last year I read it was originally from Guatemala lol. When his parents come to visit they bring it from their country. So good. Luv it! Let’s goooo!!! I’m curious to see if u ladies like it. FYI. I only eat the fried chicken and mashed potatoes. I don’t eat any of the other stuff.
