You can learn almost any exercise by building up with easier variations! Here are some examples. Note: this is a short version of a 26-minute long video called "Home Workout for Beginners (2023)" Here's the link: ruclips.net/video/gOkCJ57IvNg/видео.html Here's the Hybrid Fitness Routine: www.hybridcalisthenics.com/routine And here's the book version if you want it: www.hybridcalisthenics.com/book I tried to fit what I can into a short video. The goal is to have an easy reference that people can watch to get started. We have an elaborate routine for details IF people want more! Do you all want me to list the Goal Standards here in the description? I'm used to typing long descriptions but I'm not sure how many people read it 😂. Either way, have a wonderful day! Also, yes my knees go in a bit more than I'd like during my intro jump when I stand up 😅. The one later is better.
Emphasis on CONTROL with controlled twists, people! Twisting too far/quickly without proper stabilization is a great way to knock one or more vertebrae out of place. You shouldn't slip a disk, but you still won't like moving after
I love channels like this, that actually include the fact that not everybody is strong enough yet and actually wants to help them get stronger instead of just expecting them to be strong and shaming them when they aren’t.
I love how easy you make it to get started. We need your little chibi's as stickers, so I can mark my planner! I would buy them!❤ Keep being a fantastic inspiration!!❤😊
I'm open to making them as stickers! Do you think people would like them? I could order some. I'd like them to have some type of function, so maybe people can use them as reminders?
@@HybridCalisthenics I think people would love them! I would use them as both functional stickers and decorating my planner!! I want to have a fun reminder sticker I can put on the day of the workout I should be doing! I think a walking, hydration and "Have a Beautiful Day" stickers would be fantastic as well. :) Bonus your chibi characters are super cute as is!! So Die cuts could be a thing too!
I appreciate how accessable this is, both physically and mentally. When you use a tree to do a standing push up, it seems more like playing (yay fun) than working out (stressful). The mental shift alone is huge! The mental/emotional part of connecting with my body tends to be the biggest obstacle for me.
SAMEEE sometimes i like the idea of working out but when i start a routine, i don't feel any connection to my mind or my emotions! like i can never put my heart into it
@@earth2me that's why it's important to build a routine. Find a spot in your schedule to plan for excercise and then follow through, even if it means just to walk around the block, you'll slowly get into the habbit of feeling good after doing -something- and then you can build on that foundation to actually look forward to doing more. Good luck!
remember than any movement is better than no movement! idk if u excercise or not at all, but its also important to find what you like. doing stuff you dislike doing is likely not going to make it stick. if youre not a proffessional, movement should totally be about fun in a big part! workouts are supposed to be fun people!!! finding what we like is the keyyyy
The fact that this man doesn’t even advertise HIS OWN products like bands or gym rings (which are fantastic, by the way) truly is just impressive to see these days. Thank you, Hampton, and may you become president of the universe someday.

I sometimes mention them because not everyone knows they exist (as in, the existence of any gym rings or bands), but I always try to make it just seem like an option for people who want it. Not everyone needs them and that's okay! If you got them, I'm really glad you like them. Have a wonderful day!

Just be careful on your joints and make sure you confirm there are no underlying issues (like reumatic arthritis) before working out, you can still excercise with those issues, but it needs to be a little different than for a healthy person.
The hands in the back at laying leg raises for avoiding pain is a tip i always used. Nice to know a big channel is teaching this for lots of people right now. Nice job dude!
I really can't express how much I love these videos. I do hit the gym for convenience (free gym at work) but calisthenics will always have a special place in my heart as they were my gateway to fitness and heath, and these videos have a vibe that makes me want to abandon the weights and go back to the good old days
Hi Hampton this is perfect for my new routine where I am working on my hesitation to workout in a park. I have always been a bit hesitant to work out in open spaces with people around me, but this is a great start which can I do after my evening walk. I hope it works out :) Thank you!
Just bought your book and went through the workouts to test which variation I should be doing for each excercise and I gotta say it was nice to be able to progress up to bodyweight standard, I hurt my back some years ago and lost my gym motivation and went from 80kg to 130kg so having to relearn bodyweight excercises was difficult but your progression is helping alot Thx
yes, thank you! a huge issue with exercise is that people don't think it's easy to get into, especially starting at a higher weight. introducing people to exercise with really simple things like this is SUUUPER helpful!
I'm following your program for the last couple of months, always respecting my limitations, and it is changing my life. I've never felt so stong as I feel now. Thanks for sharing the knowledge!

Pull ups eventually requirde some sort of bar or rings. I just bought rings and a pull up bar solely for that reason. Almost 2 weeks in and still going strong🍀
During my theatre education, we had an amazing irish drama teacher who ALWAYS prioritized core body strength over anything else! For the last rotation stretch, he would have us lay down on the floor on our stomachs, as if watching TV with our forearms supporting the head.. then pretend that someone opened the door to our room, turning the torso around, raising our arm towards them and mentally thinking "get out of my room, cant you see I am watching TV?!" 😂 Amazing way to give purpose to the exercise ❤
THANK YOU FOR THE PULL-UPS ONE!!!!! my only fitness goal is to be able to do one pull up but it’s so hard for me right now that i don’t even know where to start to work my way up
A lot of those are things we do in gymnastics. Trust me, I despise vault days because we have to do leg lifts (in a pike) for multiple minutes straight.
I personally prefer Core exercises that teach your body to stabilize rather than move, it's much more functional that way, and it carries over directly to basically every lift or even daily activities. I'm not saying moving your core and spine is bad, but it's at least very contextual, and I think most people would benefit a lot more from stability work instead.
