Nice improvements from your previous video on this technique. I have tried many styles of extended bodies and along with segmented foam this is the best. I have also ribbed the extended body with fine wire or a thin application of a darker dubbing. Thanks for the content.
Nice fly but I'm not sure about the advantage of the extended body. I generally welcome the chance to tie a dry on a larger hook. I tie ISO's on 10's or 12's and often pull them under as they start to swing to imitate the swimming emergers.
Excellent tutorial with clear step by step instructions!
What a master you are Tim.
Klasse, so einfach nachzubilden, man muss nur darauf kommen . Danke für die Bindeanleitung .
Excellent video explained through the images. Better impossible.
Excellent tying. Well done.

Yet another nice pattern Tim. To be honest I don’t know how many more I can add to my to-do list! lol. Thank you for another one dude.
That looks like a great technique, Tim. I've tried a variety of extended bodies, but never one with stretch tubing. Thanks for sharing.
I cannot wait to try this pattern..and referring to your other video about extension, still an great tip!
I love the way you used the thin tube as extensjen on this pattern 👏😍😍
This is incredible
yeah, I got super excited!
@@philipvankampen3394 I am lazy, I been fishing the Insult for the last three weeks! Works well during the Iso hatch.
FANTASTIC !!
"The most rewarding hobby on earth is the art of fly tying." Change my mind
How u want me to do dat
Um....fly fishing???
True story
Very interesting concept for creating extended body flies, thanks for showing. What's the diameter of the tubing?
I attach a needle to a drill and then I coat the needle in silicone and wraps around it. No thread and it becomes hollow so it floats like a cork
I just watched the video on this method and it looks really interesting. Planning on giving that a try
James Ward I’ve tried tightlines method but it’s kinda complicated, with silicon you can just wrap whatever you want onto it then wait for it to dry
What’s your opinion of the foam extended bodies? I hear mixed reviews on hook ability .
Is this a dry fly?
Yes, body and hackle rest on the surface film. It is also emerger.

I'm surprised that the fly didn't just fly away
Fucking genius!
Классно!!!
Man that’s gotta be hard to tie
