Square Enix and Eidos-Montreal's take on the band of cosmic misfits in video game form is a punky, scrappy affair where you control Star-Lord and the Guardians on a quest to save the universe and beat an ominous growing power. It's a high-octane adventure packed with a mix of fast-paced combat, comic book action, and tough choices.
The game is set in an original universe based on the Marvel Comics superhero team Guardians of the Galaxy. The plot follows the Guardians, led by their self-proclaimed leader, Star-Lord (Peter Quill). While attempting to capture a beast for a wealthy collector, they inadvertently trigger a catastrophe that threatens the peace of the galaxy.
As the player, you control Star-Lord from a third-person perspective. You’ll issue commands to other Guardians (Drax the Destroyer, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, and Groot) during exploration and battles against numerous foes on different planets. Suit up and get down cause it's time to show the universe exactly what you're made of!
