This actually hit me hard which I wasn’t expecting. Jodie Comer absolutely killed it with this scene, the way she put so much emotion into it yet still managed to make it be Villanelle still is amazing!
One of my favourite scenes from the show due to her acting

Jodie is magnificent as Villanelle. Her vulnerability was intense and real. I felt it. Her performances were so nuanced and she portrayed that character perfectly. How unfortunate to have seen it squandered with a poor ending. I miss her.

The more I re watch scenes like this the more I realise how much I'm going to miss hearing the music and in particular the band Unloved used in the show. Its such a pivotal part of the whole tone of KE. I own all the soundtracks on vinyl and listening to them brings me back instantly. Unloved is the sound of KE 🖤

The way this scene was shot, with the off centered shot of Jodie with the way her head is back and throat so exposed was so sad and so sexy at the same time. Add the raw emotion of her acting in this scene was one of the best scenes. Along with the scene of her on the train when she has an anxiety attack, and breaks the forth wall for that split second by looking directly into camera. Wow.
She is just so amazingly beautiful and immersive.
