Sonny Colbrelli or as he is known to his fans Colbrelli is one of the most controversial cyclists in history. He used epic not doping methods to win the 2021 Roubaix and been the crush of the people in Tour with a legendary performance in Roubaix. This is the story of Bahrain Victorious Sonny Colbrelli. Want to know what happened? I thought it was ridicolous when the Bahrain team changed its name to Bahrain Victorious. But when they started to be a top tier world tour team suddenly it fell into a very suspcious category. And then Mohoric is stupid enough to do a Lance Armstrong imitation when winning the stage in TdF.... If they arent caught, nobody will.
Also Mark Padun in the 2021 duaphine saying it never felt so easy
Riding a 12 man break off his wheel 🤦♂️
@@alistairlawson7514 haha ikr 😂
Lol for real tho....
They have been caught cheating, tizanidine just wasn't on the prohibited list, yet. Don't overlook the impact and influence of dirty money from the Middle East (UAE,TBV, early season races in the desert which nobody cares about and which make no sense, except $$$$$$)
Thanks for the video. I remember him kicking the shit out of pure climbers in the Tour and thinking to myself that it couldn’t be believable. This explains my questions…..
Good one, thanks for sharing!💪🏻🚴♂️
Colbrelli doped till his heart failed. Also notice how bad Bahrain has been performing lately.
Thanks for the content
My favourite rider Sonny Colbrelli!!! Miss him
mine Too.
The story actually gets pretty sad in 2022. He collapsed after a stage at the Volta a Catalunya, falling unconscious, later revealing he suffered a heart attack. Yes, a heart attack. He later had surgery and received a subcutaneous defibrillator implant.
This is a man who was 32 years old, and an elite endurance athlete with superior cardio vascular and cardio respiratory fitness. Essentially receiving medical treatment usually facing sedentary seniors who are often old and infirm.
Anyone who thinks he was clean, and didn't receive likely experimental, dangerous doping drugs is being delusional. I just hope he permanently retires and does something healthy and safe with the rest of his life.
I'd venture he received an experimental drug in the weeks/months prior that many others around the world also did, suffering similar adverse reactions.
@@black_knight_offroad 100% correct..Myocarditis
@@michaelsteven1090 does not have anything to do with covid?
Lots of these guys have heart issues. Nothing new here. It's been going on for decades
The classic "changed my diet" become super human routine
“I just eat nothing but chicken and rice!”
They say as they go from a middling athlete/physique to superman.
A sad way to have to go forward in life with the issues he now has (given he is a young man) however his performance in recent years has been mutant.
I wish you kept the story going till the end twist. His fall was as fast as his rise to the top and possibly due to widespread and often mandated experimental medications of the 2020 era.
💯
So with your logic only van aert and van der poel can win. Anybody else is suspicious? Com on...and by the way. That substance is described as a muscle relaxant. It is not that weird that a professional cyclist takes it, the let's even ban massages?
All his vids are like this, he simply invents stuiff out of the blue till he'll get stued.
@@mikestunt77 I have to agree. Very poor content. And not a word about the vaccine and reactions colbrelli suffered not long before his sickness.
Afraid to disappoint the mass?
Or what?
This guy on this chan just looks for clicks and his fan always ready to spread shit around in order to get clicks.
@@pierovittori1076 yeah you perfectly summarized it in your last sentence.
@@mikestunt77 no vax avete rotto le.scatole pure voi. Ripigliatevi. (Translation) Novaxxers you are also annoying as fuck. Get back together
I really liked Colnrelli. That guy was just at his peak. And really lived for the sport.
Way to go buddy!
Wasn't Nairo just disqualified from TdF due to drug with similar purposes (pain relief)?
Yes. But that was banned by uci
@@cyclingstories Technicalities.
No. Tramadol. Which is a synthetic opioid mimicking pain reliever. Less powerful than Hydrocodone for pain relief. Tramadol is actually less dangerous statistically than naproxen, diclofenac (a time-release ibuprofen like drug), or etoricoxib (similar). But it loses effectiveness over time, and has the potential to heavier pain-relief drug use.
Tramadol is a heavily used drug in the NFL, and a few other contact sports, where it's legal and it's use overseen by team doctors.
Why it's on the UCI banned list has been controversal from the beginning.
Tizanidine isn't going to give anyone such power. It might help him sleep better. If his performance was due to doping it was from something else.

Thanks for the vid! It Will be awsome if you do a vidéo on Chris Horner!🙂
You mean 41 years of age winning the vuelta chris horner? 🤣
Chris was clean, like all the Americans of that era.
About time Wiggins and G were exposed too 😳 Jiffy boys. Sutton was hung out but Brailsford will one day get the headlines.
@@colmbloomer8668 There was no jiffy bag.
Sonny may have doped, but he also got jabbed. That’s what did him in.
Bingo
Colbrelli spends a lot of time near Livigno and sleeps months over 2000m
Way to go buddy
another athlete in the long list to develop a heart issue in the last 2 years ! I wonder is there patterning forming?
Yes, the pattern is they all had to be vaccinated in order to compete.
@@janovcar yep, let's NOT forget that. Enough said!
There is a pattern alright and it leads to death
@@janovcar he was sick a couple of weeks before the issue came out... apperently he raced when he had a fever, its well known thats the worst you can do
Fred Wright aside are they [Bahrain] even competing this 2nd half of the year. I find the coverage odd it makes a hero out of Valverde. On other teams this year still many gregarios had days that were amazing often sponsored by other gulf fiefdoms. In la Vuelta a Zwift graduate 2 stages in a few days in one out climbing the favourites despite being in the break.
My fav fellow Welsh Bahrain guy Steve Williams with nothing else on his Wiki for years winning Croatia Tour and a stage in the Tour de Covid [Suisse] this year before disappearing.
Are you having the sniffles? your voice sounds a bit shaky 😅
i have taken tizanidine for years and unfortunately have not benefitted like people in cycling report.
I suppose if you have a condition and use the medication, at best will bring you to ˋnormalˋ state…but when one has no problem and take a drug supplement it might give a benefit.….i take heavy painkillers for my back injury, oxycodone, tramadol and sometimes fentanyl and it only allow me to be able to cycle with less pain….but if you have no problem and take tramadol you can perform better because of the ability to sustain more pain than normal.
@@sergiobarros2697 same here, 300mg of tramadol a day and I’m slower than before my back injury when I was medication free.
@@machohogan Tramadol will eventually slow you down..Its a lousy painkiller and helps cyclists by boosting norepinephrine, when used sparingly with days off..Also, its very hard to come off..withdrawals are severe.
Don't forger Sky and Astana
cycling was cleaner (not clean) from 2009 with the passport, however it now seems to have gone back to the bad old days
All those clean Sky riders, Schleckc Contador etc.
@@machohogan I said cleaner...such that non doped riders stood a chance. I'd happily put my hand in the fire and say Geraint Thomas is no doper. He rode better than ever in the 22 tour and was 7 minutes off the win......
@@richardhall4830 I think there’s a lot of very clever use of non banned medical products and TUE’s but I guess we’ll only find out in a few years. Yup I agree with, cleaner from 09, Satre and Cadel spring to mind.
I’m always sceptical, I watched my first tour in 90 when I was 14 and gert jan theunisse was talked about often as he was serving a ban.
I had friends who were bodybuilders and it alarmed me the drugs they took and could easily get hold of. I knew of runners and triathletes who they sold gear to and always wondered how non ever failed or even got tested.
I then trained with a guy who was a pole vaulter who couldn’t crack the top 5 in the UK as he was clean. I was often around drugs and made me very sceptical.
I was one of the very to say Lance was on drugs and I got torn to bits for it on club runs in the early 2000’s.
I still think where there’s smoke there’s fire and it’s always the case with cycling. Time will reveal who took what and when, it virtually always comes out.
I’m never sure about any Ineos riders but I’m never really sure about anyone.
There are definitely a lot of superhuman performances at the moment and there really is no answer.
A lot of the reasons given are the exact same ones put out with Lance.
That being said I’m enjoying it far more than the Froome era. ✌️👍🏻
@@machohogan oh no doubt it's better racing but I'd say less clean than it was pre 2020. I'm not believe enough to believe sky was purer than the driven snow btw. Something has changed again in cycling as in 91 when indurain came along, there lemond pretty much had the same power as 90 finishes 7th behind riders of a similar age he used to beat easily. According to ppl in the know Thomas never ridden better than in the last tour and he's miles off the win. The ex dopers from the 90s are all in the management of teams, Ricco opened an ice cream shop on Tenerife, enough said. I suspect they are infusing half pints instead of full pints.
@@machohogan who do you think or have more feeling that ride or rode under substances?
Heart problems in these years are also possible due to Covid
Covid vaccines*
@@janovcar Nope, covid vaccines problems are meant to be temporary, unlike covid problems
@@lorenzonanetti330 ok boomer..get out of here with the lies
Go Team Bahrain Victorious!!!!
I don’t get it. He took a drug that’s not banned. Why is that cheating?
Yes an unbanned muscle relaxer that helps ease muscle pain... An endurance sport athlete using it.... sooo suspicious 😂😂😂
@@gabriele223 So what? What if he were taking aspirin instead? Would that be cheating? Aspirin eases muscle pain and therefore increases performance in the same way.
@@larrygrossman8021 that's what I am telling too. It would be like banning massages
@@gabriele223 Ah - sorry. That's the first time anyone has ever agreed with me 😀
I have muscle pain after a one day 100km ride. Imagine them after 3 weeks with 200km a day at 40km /h. I think you try everything you can
Why you didn't mention that Sonny was sick for COVID19? Looks like Cardiomyopathia is his diagnosis
Whoa, heart issues because they were too thin?
tizanidine is hardly a PED cmon
His sparse hair… cold
Dope is dope. It won't go away, it'll be here and there forever🤪🚲💉💉
Could Bo Hamburger also be a doped Dane? Did he get fat from all the hamburgers? 🍔
Hahaa🤙🏽🤣🇳🇱
Funny how Bahrain Team starting winning after Ellingworth left
If you are cheating why go so overboard?
Colbrelli is entertaining though, which is unlike Bahrain leader Landa. A very odd team, I'd get rid of Landa and make Pello the go to man. They've had a few raids by Police, but I've never heard anything else.
+Alanphilipe Diden t exist this year 2022. I do want to see at the world championships over 250 kmrace ???
Most sportsmen have periods in theyre careers where they excell.. The only difference is on this channel anyway like pretty much all of the stories on here it is supposedly down to drugs. Who is this bloke... Kimmage..
Sudden brilliant performances you mean like Mr vine in the vuelta!!. More than suspicious!!.
JV has been an up and coming talent for years in Australia, not an overnight success story. Do your research you peanut.
Not really. He has been going on a high level for a long time if you look closely. Not sudden at all.

Most obvious fraud in all of cycling. Most egregious cheat. If he ever races again, most foolish!
the entire team at the 2021 tour. ridiculous performances. wout poels almost stole the mountains jersey and maybe forced woods to quit after 19 stages?
Useless video, police raids did not held results so innocent until proven guilty. What you think of Remco’s dominance at La Vuelta 22? Rig and Pog? Come on!
