When I was 19 years old, I broke out with psoriasis..my whole neck all the way to my feet. It was triggered from getting strep throat. After it cleared up after 3 or so months, I thought I was clear from it. Well, it started showing up again but on my head; in my hair. When I was about 26 years old, my barber asked if I had psoriasis and I told her I didn’t think so. She noticed the red patches but I wasn’t bothered by it until I was about 33-35 years old. I’ve had many seasons with it. From elbows to knees; my joints. I am not on meds for it but I do use a special shampoo. And keep my hair short now. I’m glad we have someone like Cyndi Lauper being vocal about it. Great segment!
