As a former tree trimmer of 15 years... tree trimmers can be some of the shadiest people you'll ever meet. It doesn't surprise me a bit to hear the "super mayor" is in cahoots with such a crowd.

They don't want to come back to this in a couple months because something else was found. I’ve looked into this and interestingly, African-Americans picked this up from their overseers during the slave times. The overseers came from the lower classes of England and they pronounced the word ask as “ax” in the 1700s. In fact, think about how a pirate (which is an old English West country accent) might pronounce ask. So I guess it’s sort of ingrained in them. It’s annoying but less so when you understand, its origins.

I just looked up a recent 2021-22 annual Dolton budget - total revenues were $24-million, and they spend $427,000 for "Elected" staff, including $142,000 salaries and $145,000 for benefits, which is amazing. Usually benefits are about 30-35% of the salaries. I would investigate all the expenses for all the elected officials, including the $112,000 for office expenses.

Im currently dealing with a problem tree in front of my home which is on town property..
National grid tagged it with red paint a d red ribbon, which means it's a danger and needs to come down.
People walk under it all day, children, people with baby strollers, the mail man, me, etc..
It is a risk to damage to my home...
So national grid told me they do these assessments, then give them to the town, and the town has to vote on the tree to come down, how much is budgeted for it etc..
So now i have national grid telling me its up to the town,

So I've found out my best means to address this, is to send a certified letter to the town listing my concerns so its all in record in the event something happens related to that tree so i dont get stuck with the deductible from my home owners insurance, and the town will be held fully responsible.

If the trees are near power wires the power companies pay to trim the trees.
I'm sure the landscape maintenance superintendent has information on how these contracts are being awarded. There usually an arborist report and trees are identified whether a tree only needs trimming or a tree needs to be removed. What were the tree trimming expenses before she came to power? Was there an actual need for services? Why was this work not budgeted?

The federal and state agencies pay millions of dollars in reimbursements to villages for storm cleanup, especially if s state of emergency was declared or area in disaster zones. She paying the tree company with village funds and stealing the emergency reimbursements.

I worked for National Grid and I worked hurricane sandy on Long Island and the tornadoes that hit Springfield Massachusetts 10 or 15 years ago. National Grid and the municipalities received hundreds of millions in disaster relief. She’s pocketing that money from FEMA and paying the tree company on the down low so no one ask about that money from FEMA.

I have worked in the tree business and what I think she is doing double dipping on the tree trimming money. Villages usually pay these companies to clean up after storms and most time the village can get storm cleanup money from FEMA and other agencies. Or the power companies with storm damage. She’s stealing the emergency clean up money.

I think the truck purchase was also a big kickback scheme that the city is on the hook for. Otherwise, the final numbers would have been far more in line with what a municipality would pay for a vehicle, not what an 18 yo would pay. It didn't make sense unless it was somehow Dolton was getting 2 trucks for that price.

I own a photo booth service. When I ever get hired by a city I have to become a city approved vendor, then I have to wait to get confirmed to do the gig, it takes forever. I charge them around a thousand, idk how she was doing that with jobs in the tens of thousands.

The association I payed for each month had a tree trim company show did absolutely nothing and left. Association scam they get paid have there tree trim company show to act like they did something but didn’t have to pay for them to do anything.

She’s a narcissist, they play a long game sometimes and I don’t think she ever believed anything she said as a trustee about being upset that the mayor was bypassing the trustees or the tree trimming etc. Seems to me she was setting up a cover for her scams and schemes even then by being loud advocating against things she is now doing she likely thought it would make it less likely she’d be looked at for those very issues if people already believed she was against such things. Narcs do not have any true feelings or scruples about others being done wrong but they watch others who actually do and mimic them to be convincing.
