Great ideas. Would be awesome if you keep updating the big boi basics template with these too. That way when I am ready to switch up.l, there are right there in the template!
Heavy curls (and I mean specifically heavy) seem to carry over really well to vertical pulling like weighted chins. They were an important accessory to help me get a recent 60kg PR on on the weighted chin up at (75kg bw). I cant do nordics yet but i want to build up to them! I like the pillow drill. You ever tried sissy squats? The stimulus from those is so potent (a good leg extension alternative if the knees can take it).
I like larson presses, machine lu lateral raises. I invented ( i think?) Larson pullovers where you do pullovers with your legs out in front and they work lats, triceps chest and abs. They are pretty tough and i use two dumbells for it. They are fun. Platz squats aren't necessarily fun, but they are tough as heck. All these have been spicing up my training lately
@john-atallah lol just be careful you got good balance. Anything larson can be a bit sketch if you aren't careful. But im crazy, I even did it with my head off the bench. Got some neck work in, lol
@john-atallah yeah lateral raises machines you can grind out crazy amount of reps and sets if you feel. Easiest way to take lateral raises to failure and even do partials
@@john-atallah Yeah just slips in my bag. I've also made a dip belt as well, and use climbers webbing for my lifting straps (oly style). would recommend!
What are your favorite exercises? Amd did you download the big boi basics template?

I wish my gym had a lateral raise machine 😢.
Those Larson pullovers sound interesting, I will have to try them out.

recently bought a $4, 8 ft rope of climbers tubular webbing (1”) from REI, so I don’t have to hog two ropes for the tricep extensions. Its JUICY
That's awesome. do you bring it to the gym?
