The flu they're talking about is no joke, Odd. The Spanish Flu of 1918 killed about four million people in the wake of the First World War, piling calamity on top of calamity. Love this Edwardian setting full of Victorian architecture that the Blitz will destroy some 20 years in the future...keep us posted!

The intro sequence is pretty badass! And the mood of the game reminds me of Bloodborne (which has been inspired by the previous period anyway - which was still pretty close to the one the game is set in -, though the penny dreadful vibe quickly turned into Lovecraftian madness in Bloodborne's case haha).
Also, I have a hard time focusing on the game since a childhood friend worked on it, and her work is pretty much everywhere since she's in environment. I'm like, giggling like a little kid and going all "teehee she did that!" 😂

I like your content and I like how you actually read through everything and the thing that seems so uncommon is that people who play games like this just miss so much and don't understand how things work but you seem to learn the way things work quickly so thank you for that because it gets annoying watching someone who is obvious to a lot of things

Had my eyes on it from when it was announced and this will be a solid decision maker for me.
Tossing in a bit of smart-assery on the side:
-I heard in a developer interview that the talents you choose affect how your character looks, so you might want to be carefull what you upgrade
-Lupara means (sort of) "(gun) for the wolves", nickname for a double barreled shotgun used by italian farmers/shepherds to protect against wolves and also by the Cosa Nostra
-"Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" likely a reference to the "southern gothic" novel of the same name

I’m calling it here, if the main character has a best friend, later on in the end you’ll have a choice to take his blood to keep living or not. This is 100% a guess.

I love vampires and the dark stories that are based around them. They are mysterious, dark , powerful and cryptic. I'm half an episode in, and i'm already loving this to bits.

Hey Odd! In case nobody else mentioned it to you, autophagy would be pronounced AU-toh-fay-gee. The suffix “-phagy” refers to the process of eating specific food. For example, the technical term for cannibalism is anthropophagy.
Oh, a fun fact: quinine is what gives tonic water (like in gin and tonic, or the brand name San Pellegrino carbonated water) its bitter taste.

So the voice actor in the introduction also played a domestic abuser in The Archers, a very long running radio drama about farming life in the UK. As a result I find his voice puts me on edge as soon as I hear it, which all adds to setting the vibe!

That's some nasty Jack the Ripper theme of a game... I love it.
The setting at the beginning reminds me a bit of Assassin's Creed Syndicate, set in Victorian London. Love the "steampunky" setting. I'm never keen on playing a Vampire (like in the Elder Scrolls) but this game looks very intriguing. Hope he finds some new clothes soon. It's just weird that he runs around in a bloody shirt and people are ok with it LOL

Look like a great new playthrough and strangely enough, my son just downloaded this game as well.
I REALLY love the "grittyness" of the story in this game.
It feels like this Reid character is similar in many ways to Dr. Alistair Grout, the malkavian primogen in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. The skeleton you find in his bed in the manor. A vampire who wants to research the vampiric nature from an academic perspective, and one who hears the whispers of an unknown voice speaking in riddles, one who turns quite paranoic by the end.

Nice..... I wasn't sure what to make of this when I first started watching. The acting seemed kinda off and it looked clunky but glad I stuck through to the end. Looking forward to more now :D
