This is the moment a man called the Adhan at the Alhambra palace in Spain.
The Adhan was called by Mouaz Al-Nass who is of Syrian Origin. He told IlmFeed he felt the walls had missed 'hearing the call to Allah'.
Muslims came to Spain in 711 and ruled for almost 800 years and the Alhambra palace was built by the Muslim Rulers of Granada.
In 1492, Granada came under Christian rule and Muslims were forced to convert to Christianity or risked facing torture. Many converted outwardly but practiced Islam secretly.
By 1501, no Muslims officially remained in Granada.

Im not Arabic/Muslim or anything like that but...as a white person from the US, may I just say, this is one of the most Beautiful things (is this a Call to Prayer?) that I've ever heard. My heart started to beat faster and I legit felt tears in my eyes. I appreciate this look into your Culture/Religion especially when there are so many trying to destroy it due to fear and hatred.

I think that you should not say 'Mashallah' but rather 'Ma Shaa Allah' because the spelling of 'Mashallah' changes the meaning of the word as there is an Arabic letter called hamza with which Allah's Name is joined in the Arabic spelling in the word 'Ma Shaa Allah'. I used to make the same mistake but I hope that you can change this,

While visiting Alhambra Palace early this year, I kept thinking about this brother and his beautiful Azan and also admiring him for his courage as it's not easy to do what he did. When I came back, I searched for this video and heard it several times during Ramadan and now this devastating news that this brother is no longer with us. May he enter Paradise and this Azan be a continuous source of rewards for him.

Christianity and Judaism flourished under Muslim rule and even until today the person responsible for the restoration of christian sites around the middle east and especially in Palestine is the current king of Jordan, a muslim (look up the video from an american christian news network online reporting on this one in particular).

Bill Walton, As-Salaamu 'alaykum! Please do not say 'In Shaa Allah' and then say 'Ameen' because this would imply that you're enforcing something against Allah. It's like me making a dua for something and then saying 'If Allah wills' but then saying 'So be it (Ameen)'. It does not make sense as I cannot force Allah to do anything, Astaghfir-Ullah.

There might be angels who hastened to listen to his call to prayer. Muslims believe in angels. And we believe that they don't just stay up in the sky all the time. Some of them are down here amongst us too. And some come and go. Do some reading from authentic sources. You might find it very interesting. Islam is not the only montheisistic religion ( Islam is a way of life really) that believe that angels exist, so the question arises what do these beings do?

Whatever is in the heavens and the earth declares His glory; and He is the Mighty, the Wise” Quran 59:22-24.
Say (O Muhammad), "I am no more than a human like you, and it has been inspired to me that your god is but One God. So whoever longs to meet his Lord shall do good deeds and never associate anyone in the worship of his Lord." Quran18:110
O you messenger, deliver what is brought down to you from your Lord. If you do not, then you have not delivered His message. Quran 5:67
We have sent you (O Messenger) with the truth as a bearer of news and a warner. Quran 2:119
"He has ordained for you the same religion (Islam) which He enjoined on Noah, and that which We have revealed to you, and which We enjoined on Abraham, Moses and Jesus: namely that you should remain steadfast in religion and be not divided therein.” [Quran 42:13]
After the corruption of the older Scriptures, the Quran came with a twofold purpose -- to confirm the true and original message of Islam, and to stand as a witness to it, by confirming the truth and rejecting the falsehood, which over time came into the older Scriptures. Muslims are required to believe in the revealed Scriptures and to make no distinction between any of them, or the Messengers who brought them, may Allah exalt their mention, because they all come from the One True God.
The Quran says (what means): "Say (O Muhammad to the Jews and Christians): 'We believe in Allah and that which has been sent to us and that which has been sent down to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and to Al-Asbat, (the offspring of the twelve sons of Jacob) and that which has been given to Moses and Jesus, and that which has been given to the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted (in Islam).” [Quran 2:136]
Say, "O people, the truth has come to you from your Lord. Whoever is guided is guided for himself and whoever goes astray does so to his own detriment. I am not a trustee over you."Quran 10:108
If they turn away, your sole mission is the delivery (of the message). God is Seer of the people. Quran 3:20

I watched this video again after probably a year ago, but my heart keep shaking and start crying again.
He seems fairly young. Allah called him back soon after he did this beautiful deed, he was spared any further time and struggle in this dunya. May Allah unite him and all of us with His Prophet (Sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) in the highest levels of Jannah without any questioning.

Whatever religion you are, deep inside your heart. Once you hear the Adhan. You will feel a feeling like something called you and you belonging to somewhere and you did not know what to do but at the same time you feel blessing, calm, resemblance and serenity like you have find something that you have lost a long long time ago.

The fall of Granada, sadly Muslims were forced to leave the Spain or to convert to Christianity. I have been to Zaragoza, Spain and they have a similar castle made by a Muslim ruler 'Abu Jaffar Al-Muqtadir', my heart cried when I saw the palace, empty and quiet. I could feel the presence of Abu Jaffar Al-Muqtadir. Sadly, my eyes couldn't see him, but my heart felt his presence. I could not explain, but I felt for few minutes that he is asking me that what has happened to one of the greatest religion and its followers, I was speechless :'(

This is the style of Adzan I grew up with, I would hear this 5 times a day and would hear it in the mosque during Jum'ah (Friday Prayer) even calling out an adhan in this style which is of the Syrian style if not mistaken.
