- What Are The Best & Worst Rooms at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge? In today's video, I go over some of the best (and worst) rooms at this popular Disney Resort at Walt Disney World.
Everyone's wants are different, I will walk you through some things to consider when making a room request at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge using the TouringPlans.com Room Request Feature available only to their subscribers. Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge has some Standard View Rooms that have a partial Savannah View and I go over which rooms they are.

Thanks again for doing these! In July, we are split half at AKL and the other at Riviera- your videos have been super helpful. The information provided and request feature added so much to our Feb 23 and Aug 22 stay because we were in perfect rooms for our family!

I don’t think it has. I still need to do a video for the new Grand Floridian building. But that’s it. And thanks. These videos came purely out of frustration of hearing people give their opinions of the “best” room, not taking into account the person’s needs/wants. So I love hearing that it’s been helpful

Great video! I’ve been going back and forth with a Savannah view or Standard view and whether it’s worth the up charge! What do you think?
We never willingly pay for view. There are enough partial Savannah views to try and get one without the price tag. But as long as you won’t be disappointed if you don’t get one
@shannon, Why do you prefer the sunset savana over the arusha?
Hi. Which room would you recommend for a club level, 2 bedroom savanna room closets to the lobby elevator? 3481 seems to be the winner due to the fact that it’s close to everything. The view of the Savanna seems a bit obstructed. Is 3481 close to where they have the club level snack and drinks? Thank you.

LOL. You may be the odd man out. I find most people in higher level rooms do the least amount of research. My value resort videos are waaaay more popular than any of my Deluxe. Have a wonderful trip’
Great video! Question, are the king bed, pool view rooms in the Zebra building newly remodeled? For example, is room 4432 remodeled?
I'm not sure about being remodeled. rooms are remodeled all together. So if one is remodeled, they all are done within the same time frame. Only exception would be hotel side vs DVC. They may have different schedules

Thanku for most informative video. Its all crystal clear but somehow the number of baths are omitted. It would be a bonus if this is included as its as important as the number of rooms. This is the Lodge, the hotel side. There are only a few suites. Otherwise, it’s mostly regular hotel rooms with one bathroom

@@kenney1050 while I am not connected with any travel agency, I personally use TouringPlans Travel. When you book with them, you get a year subscription to TouringPlans which allows you to make the room request. Their website is touringplans.com/travel

How far in advance would you recommend putting your request in?
More than 30 days out. Anything more won’t make a difference, but you do t want to forget. I put it in as soon as I book

Going in October, the Village, Deluxe Studio with Savanna view. Waiting to watch the part here on making a request. AJ says the Zebra Trail, Urusha Savanna View is my best bet if I get lucky.
