I take 100 calls a day. Turn on a large fan, and just like that, everything becomes white noise. And the fan also keeps you cool. I walk 20k - 30k a day, love it! Can’t live without it. Going on 2 years now! My eggs are so visibly stronger, and it feels amazing!
This was a quality review. I appreciate the fact that you trialed this product for three months to give enough of a long term look at its impacts and outlined its deficits within your experience. For whichever walking treadmill I acquire, I am now more reassured that I will benefit from an otherwise sedentary behavior of my current and likely long term position.
I love your setup. The only thing I'd change is the brightness of your laptop screen, have it match the room's lower brightness. So, not any brighter than the room, yet not any dimmer either, so the eyes aren't constantly having to adjudt in the moments you look away. Overly bright screens all day are a major factor to headaches. What's also good for this is a pair of glasses that block out blue light. And then the setup would be absolutely perfect.
This is everything I want in life I love to pace around and listen to music but obviously I can’t do anything productive when I’m just walking around so this would be great help ‼️
Thanks for the review! I myself already have a (regular) treadmill, but i'm thinking on DIY-ing a desk to fit on it because 8 hours of work a day sitting on my butt is killing me. Your video is one of the videos that has convinced me a walking desk is worth pursuing!🥰
Subscribed bro! Good luck! It was a quality review and great editing. One more though: more than editing and video quality, sound quality effects viewers experience of your video. I thing investing in a quality mic that gets rid of the echo and buzz will really boost your retention!
cheaper nowadays guys! Mine was about 150 euro. so, you dont need a standing desk, I have a normal desk then a standing desk thing you get on amazon to lift your laptop and keyboard/monitors up. How is your appraisal of it now, 3 years on?
Great video! Walking is SO important to overall health and I feel it's often overlooked. I was on the fence but this video officially convinced me to buy a treadmill for my office! Thank you!! ☺
This was super helpful. Not sure this solution is optimal for me, I'd like something to also keep my hands moving - but it's a start, and you give a thorough review, with pros and cons that I can compare against my own preferences and requirements. One thing that's crucial to me is the ability to type easily - since my job is all about typing, with zero tolerance for spelling errors. But I'd sure like to try and see what I can get out of it - because sitting all day is not doing me any favors, that's for sure.
@@MochaRose990 I still have it and it’s working great, and I also added a flexispot cycling desk to my home. Can’t beat just going outside though. I bought these whilst my country was still restricted under lockdown.
Hey Kingsley, how do you feel about it 1-2 years later? Me I just slow down the desk when I need to type- I get you cant do that when you go quick to destress though.
Hello, is a manual treadmill without electricity more quiet than the one you show in your video? I am a teacher and have to talk to students all the time, approx, 8 hours per day and I need a very quiet under desk treadmill. Thanks in advance for your anser.
Good to hear it's hard for others to type too. Not sure how to change my treadmill into a treadmill desk...? So far my typing was just trying to use tablet, but I would like to do this somehow.
good job and great video. I've been researching under desk treadmills for a while and had narrowed my search to about 4. I had not even looked at "city sports' brand but will now. (On another note, I like your ceiling light as well.)
Thank you for the warning about the learning curve for typing. Thankfully, under desk treadmills have come down to well under $200 in 2024. In America, we can purchase walking pads with our tax free Health Savings Accounts :-)
Thanks for putting out this review, I'm on the fence about picking up a similar model from the same brand, they seem cheap. Can you speak to its longevity? How is it holding up after more than a year?
Thank you SO much for your review brother! Just heard about these sorts of products - LOVE IT! I sure am gonna get myself one, as soon as I know which one :-D
Awesome channel, enjoying your vids, got a question about your setup - how many hours do you spend walking at your desk? What sort of shoes do you wear for walking?.
Hey thanks man. I usually walk about 1 - 2 hours a day. 6x a week. Probably 8 or so hours, or 12km. As for shoes, I usually do it wearing socks. Very comfortable to walk on and prevents any foot malformation from trainers etc.
@@KingsTalksAI Thanks for response dude, I'm soon to receive my under desk treadmill and was anticipating walking almost all day, 1-2 hours a day is a lot less than I had expected you to be walking - can I ask why so few hours? You should make a further vid about the treadmill desk, with so many WFH now it's sure to generate plenty views 👌If you don't I will 😊
I don’t have a standing desk. I also don’t have a treadmill (yet). I’m thinking of buying a height adjuster desk extension thing for my desk (desk is 75cm height) and I’m 5.7. Would this still work with the treadmill or would my legs hit off the desk when waking?
Treadmill hands down, It's too easy to get lazy on the desk bike from my experience. The treadmill has real results because you're forced to constantly move. With the stationary bike, it's very easy to stop.
Does anyone have an under desk recommendation for big people? 275lbs+ All of these seem to be rated for 100kg / 220lb... not helpful for us tall (and big) folk.
@@KingsTalksAI In the Amazon description it says max 2.25HP / 100kg / 220lbs. Hey bud I actually subbed to your channel a few days ago after watching your video. You inspired me to buy Under Desk Treadmill (actually got the same one you got). Looking at your channel I really like the topics you cover (I'm obsessed with healthy habits/"Bio Hacking"). I'm curious if you have any experience with Red Light Therapy. I'm on the fence about it myself and curious what your thoughts are on it if you have any. Thanks for your time and looking forward to your future content!
Hey mate - happy to have provided value. I do use Red light therapy, mainly in the winter months first thing in the morning. I also use it for muscle strains, good idea for a future topic. Thanks for the support!
Good video, good idea but the citysprts treadmill is hard on my feet, even with sketchers on, though I do use it 5-6 hours a day as a treadmill desk component. I’m looking for a much softer, cushier treadmill if anyone has any recommendations
Just buy a changing height desk in IKEA/elsewhere for 200 euros and a Xiaomi treadmill for 300 euros. It's a lot cheaper than those fixed treadmills for 2000 + euros 💁🏻♀️
I just ordered a treadmill at half past midnight thanks to you. Shame you won’t be here to explain it to my husband in the morning.
Haha happy to hear it. I should do a part 2, with how to win over the "other half"
It’s been a year. How’s it going?

There is absolutely something to be said about "walking through" stress! So cool!

My top recommendation would be to show the actual treadmill in use and really examine it visually. Otherwise, great video still - thanks
Thanks for the feedback!
Appreciate your comments about health benefits. Very disappointed you didn't reveal the noise level associated with your treadmill.

I'm getting a home office job and plan to do this. I wish you had shown yourself working on the theradmill and your narrative on voice over though.
good and honest marketing mate, got me to like and subscribe instantly!
The treadmill you selected....is currently not available on amazon. What were the best features? And price?
