Harakiri for the Sky is awesome. My wife and I both adore their work and finally saw them live about 2 years ago.
Trauma is undoubtedly their best.

I only found out about them recently due to the song Heroin Waltz from Arson being recommended to me on Apple Music. They’re so good, but I’ve only listened to Arson so far. Great video! Glad RUclips decided to recommend it to me. I look forward to hearing more Harakiri for the Sky and watching more of your videos

oh i love gybe, so a black metal band that also likes them and approves of the lenght of their songs sounds like a dream, thank you for making this video! also i like the album titles so much, as they just follow a theme and i think thats cool. also also, just a fun-not-so-fun-fact, aokigahara is a name of a japanese forest that is famous for an insanely high rate of suicides, so that tracks with harakiri

Very cool eloquent content! They are definitely in my top 5 of favourite bands! Besides the instruments, I want to highlight the lyrics, which often remind me of classical/romantic literature/poetry from the 19th century and I am happy I am able to connect with the music emotionally, due to experiences in life, which cover/connect with the lyrics.

I don't remember the difference between harakiri and seppuku, but one of them refers to suicide after being dishonored or committing a crime.

love the band but my only problem is how long their songs are.
they are all like 7 - 8 minutes but only really have like 5 minutes of material in them
dont get me wrong i do love long songs they just dont justify it
