JC++ // A Small Amalgamation

The title is a reference to the aphorism, "Small things will make a large pile", which I like to think about when it comes to producing music, building expertise, or making anything of value, really. This track contains all the interlocking elements you may come to expect from a JC++ track, including an evolving bass line, incessant plucky arpeggios, stretched ethereal vocals, padded synth chords, brass stabs, and some nice tension and release. One friend referred to the buzzy glitchy noise at 3:42 as a nostalgic rendition of the "cell phone signal interfering with speakers" sound, which was unintentional, but oddly beautiful. 📶
