I love being a Buddhist. My meditation practice, my Buddha statue, my incense and following the eightfold path are the most important things in my life. Buddhism is when science and empirical facts meet wisdom and spirituality. All the supernatural and magic and mystery mean nothing to me. Buddhism is for me proven truth and refinement of the mind, thoughts and one's own behavior
As a practicing Buddhist - I want to remind others that Buddhism is simply a path like any other. There are many ways to enlightenment. Don’t forget that 💙

All this is useful and brings up important connections between science and spirituality. However I feel it's important to bring up that the point of meditation is not to merely improve ourselves or practicing just because it useful or good for you. The point of it is meditation itself. As soon as you meditate for an alterior motive it's no longer really meditation. It has countless benefits for material existence but it's ultimately a way of being where you and the universe (nature, god, the source) are singular

i have never had this commentary in my head... it has always been quiet in there. and my experience of life has always been quite different to what everybody else seems to experience... Just everything. It always confused me, until I learned that everybody else had this constant voice in their head. How exhausting that must be!
I’ve experienced both mental states. I remember as a young child (maybe 5?) I watched an episode of The Wonder Years, a show in which an adult narrator looks back on his childhood and does voiceover to reflect the child’s thoughts. I remember thinking, “That’s not how my mind works, I don’t have a voice articulating everything. I just feel.” (Of course, I’m using words to explain the experience in hindsight, but you get the gist) The voice came online later in childhood and didn’t shut up for 25 years. After a few years of meditation, the voice is much quieter now and I often enter mental states in which it goes away completely. But yes, we are often our own worst company in our heads.
Create a gateway Create a lock Lock the gateway Break the gateway into pieces Put the key in Buddhism Put the lock in one religion Put the gateway pieces in other religions Spread it along the water Know that one day the gateway will be opened
Idk about “Buddhist” meditation. I think just meditation? As someone who would better be associated with Christian Mysticism, I must say that I learned to meditate from Buddhist teachings but all of that ended up pointing me to my Master. Just throwing that out there for anyone who may feel a little stuck or lost when it comes to the different descriptors of mystical practices. All of it serves the One maybe?
If I let go of body and mind no matter from which view, I come unto the one underlying spirit. “Crucifying one’s body with its passions and desires, one belongs to Christ. Since we walk in spirit, let us lead in spirit”. Or we can say “Letting go of empty phenomenon, we come unto the Absolute Buddha nature. Let us walk in it’s perfection.” Or we can say “Letting go of maya (illusion) we awaken to the supreme atman. Let us walk thus in accordance with Brahman, the eternal being.” These descriptions are all valid from Christian, Buddhist, and Hindu views yet we can see they point to the one. It is as if I point my finger to the moon, and two other people also point to the moon. It isn’t the finger that is the moon itself but the moon that fingers are pointing to. This is how we should contemplate. There is no Buddhist or Christian meditation, both are fingers pointing us to the moon. Can the moon be one finger or the other alone?
Imagine what's going to happen when neurotechnologies are able to reverse-engineer enlightenment. A project at the University of Arizona is already working on this. But soon there will be many more. Take me for example. I have done thousands of hours of meditation and worked with powerful healers for 20 years, but my OCD has gotten _worse,_ I have had so much trauma during that time. So I am about to undergo a procedure called focused ultrasound at a nearby hospital, the first of its kind in the world, that will hit a problem area of my brain and break apart the tangled circuitry. It has a 2/3 chance of success, and if it works, reduces OCD by about 40%, which is huge. OCD has proven too strong for every traditional method, and also ruined relationships, my career, my life. It has been a huge obstacle to my practice of Buddhism that has been too strong to transmute into progress on the path. It's just been meaningless suffering. It has to go.
There are 2 types of meditation in Buddism: concentrative meditation and mindfulness meditation. Mindfulness meditation should be the shortest path to enlightment.
The selves have to be separate otherwise existence would be meaningless. The whole point of being is to experience the polarity and the frequency of separation and multiplicity
Hey the Energy that's powering my body is the same energy in ur body. It's called LIFE and it's in every animal, insect, human and atom in the universe. Science doesn't know where this energy comes from and different religions call it the spirit of God, in esoteric teachings they say this energy IS GOD. It's whats giving life to the whole universe👁🧠🌌⚡️🙌
If Space is one badass Vacuum..it means everything is Falling down with increasing acceleration and yet Sattellites can stay up there for sometime .with no falling down issues..More likely, Earth is made of Land or earth(30% visible and 70% invisible land cuz under the Ocean) is not located in the Infinite Space, nor floating in the vacuum of space...but rather Earth or Infinite Land is the Foundation of our Universe..Universe is not Infinite Space alone.
"Sense of a separate self"...could it be that this sense of separateness is closer to the truth of our being rather than the one cultivated by Buddhism where the practitioner is somehow "tricked" into believing that they are not separate from the world around them? 🤔
One thing about buddhism is that their is no god but you are the universe compared to other religions where you have to worship god if i had to choose a religion definitely be buddhism
In Buddhism Devatas or Gods, Heaven and hell, different realms Karma, reincarnation everything exist even if you pray Gods and goddesses they will help you to achieve enlightenment but mein goal is not to achieve god or go to heaven but go beyond everything even concept of God and that is Nirvana. Rig Veda also mentioned that god almighty came after the creation so Buddhism is very diverse tradition or philosophy where is lots of spiritual concept.
Hebrew-ism & Buddhism are similar beliefs..He- Brew-ism is Brewing or growing/mixing a Spiritual Seed or Soul(Primodial ki/qi) for Cultivation..Budd-hism is Budding or growing a Seed or Soul in the bosom just below the Umbilicus for cultivation...Hebrewism is more ancient than Buddhism...but both originated in India/Nepal...Abraham is anagram of Brahma-n was the progenitor of Hebrewism & Buddhism, he & his Forefathers together with their Cattles & Brick making technology, left India and migrated to Middle-East and built the Tower of Babel.
Young boys definitely can feel empathy to others, it’s just that over time due to unfortunate situations they repress their empathy to deal with life. So it’s not that males are born without empathy
When you meditation you will aware everything. But while sleeping you not aware it , Some you can imagine illutions that your brain created for your action in daily life. While medidation you listen all sound in your mind happen one after anothor one. If all that sound can be silent, you will feel peacefull. Sometime you will see phenomenon will happen. So on ...
"In the deep, dreamless sleep, we touch the source of existence itself. It is a state of profound stillness and peace, where the mind rests and the heart expands in boundless awareness. In that sacred realm, we glimpse the infinite depths of our being, beyond all names and forms, and merge with the timeless essence of the universe." - Ramana Maharshi, Talks With Ramana Maharshi
It’s not true that through meditation awakening can be reached, it helps you to know your real nature, but it’s better to understand intellectually what your true nature is then u will reach awakening much faster.... but then, you’re still not enlightened... awakening brings you half way...the next step is to recognize that your ego (the self talker) is also a sham... The west calls it non-dual ... But there is a small misconception about the teaching... non-dual basically means you exist out of 2 persons, who isn't you. One is (you) you identify with your body or name...this is a false belief...And two your (ego) The self talker ...the supposted devil side IN humans. If you go search deep within ...you will see that you are NOT your (body)(name) and that you don't have a ego...the self talker dies...for good... Now the Non-dual state is over...you gave up your human side (your name) you gave up your devil side (ego) and what's left is nothing floating in timelessness...
@@mr-xoxoxomka6614 no, both dissolve into nothing...and nothing is what you are... I was depri for 12 years, so I know what ego is and does and when it’s dead.
@@dwoopie so you say that even the non-dual state disappears? I’ve heard that such state exists, it feels like eternity but only lasts like a second. My experience of nothingness was not fully empty (lol), I could somehow peak into the nothingness “space”, and the visual field was just floating in nowhere. I guess the disappearance of sensations happens by itself? You can’t force it or meditate into it
@@dwoopie you spent 12 years, did you practiced any spiritual things, or meditated? The way you explained it sounds like a long natural awakening process, but you said that after 12 years your mind became silent, was there a catalyst for a sudden change? My lifestyle is also completely absent of social interactions for a year now, but it just happened by itself, I was pursuing awakening. It’s just weird to me, recently finally I recognized that it’s silly to chase to know who you are when you are right here under your nose, but in my mind there are things that I want to know, like god, truth etc. So even though I’ve stopped seeking who I am because it’s right here, there is still a seeker attitude in me. Once I peel off the layers of my identity there is no desire to seek, because there is no one to seek, but then my day to day life comes back, and again this feeling of seeking comes
@@mr-xoxoxomka6614 For me, it really looked like that the depression...was a test... because I didn't ask for it... I wondered why it had to happen to me, I already do allot for other people, it felt so unfair... and I didn't understand...but after the test and that I got the no mind status... everything fell into place a bit. What you experience is awakening...it’s the halfway to enlightenment...you dissolved (identity)...but there is another enemy called (ego) this also Separates you from feeling complete (perfect)...the ego is your desires beyond food and drink, what u normally would need to survive. If you conquer the ego also, then u reached enlightenment...the no mind status...but I wasn't very spiritual when I became depri, but because of it I looked into the truth of everything and found non-dual...this is the only truth...forget religion... you are god itself...you are the universe seeing it from your body,s perspective.
Buddhism is something different leaving the clutter of rituals and old tradition ,it is simply the breath of the life , it is not of this and of that , even calling oneself Buddhist is wrong , Buddha's teaching is simply non identification , i identified with no religion doesn't care how old it is , not with any attachments whether its pleasure or sorrow , I'm niether happy nor sad , I'm simply I AM , as truth is a Pathless land.

i have never had this commentary in my head... it has always been quiet in there. and my experience of life has always been quite different to what everybody else seems to experience... Just everything. It always confused me, until I learned that everybody else had this constant voice in their head. How exhausting that must be!
How interesting. What was your childhood environment like, or what do you contribute your innate stillness to?
I’ve experienced both mental states. I remember as a young child (maybe 5?) I watched an episode of The Wonder Years, a show in which an adult narrator looks back on his childhood and does voiceover to reflect the child’s thoughts. I remember thinking, “That’s not how my mind works, I don’t have a voice articulating everything. I just feel.” (Of course, I’m using words to explain the experience in hindsight, but you get the gist)
The voice came online later in childhood and didn’t shut up for 25 years. After a few years of meditation, the voice is much quieter now and I often enter mental states in which it goes away completely. But yes, we are often our own worst company in our heads.
What a video. Thank you !! Awesome :)
Thank you.
That all sounds like one hell of a guess to me! ✌️💖&💡
not really a guess if they're proving it with science
Create a gateway
Create a lock
Lock the gateway
Break the gateway into pieces
Put the key in Buddhism
Put the lock in one religion
Put the gateway pieces in other religions
Spread it along the water
Know that one day the gateway will be opened
It's also why cats are said to be the best Zen teachers.
My cat liked this video. 😊 She considers herself more of a yoga and relaxation teacher than Zen master though.
Let us walk thus in accordance with Brahman, the eternal being.”
These descriptions are all valid from Christian, Buddhist, and Hindu views yet we can see they point to the one.
Buddhism is so much more than just a religion asking for blind faith. Buddhism values practice the most..
What was that thing @3:45 onwards?
Thank you asangoham 🙏🇮🇳
It has to go.
amazing, thank you!
another excellent vid asangoham =] thnx
There are 2 types of meditation in Buddism: concentrative meditation and mindfulness meditation. Mindfulness meditation should be the shortest path to enlightment.
You need to do thorough research on samadhi of buddhism. It is not concentration as many people believe in.
@@sk-tp7zo Yes I did. It's called Vipassana. I'm from Thailand. Buddhism is our way of life. :)
மிக்க மிக்க மிக்க நன்றி.....! Love you.💐🙏💐
The selves have to be separate otherwise existence would be meaningless. The whole point of being is to experience the polarity and the frequency of separation and multiplicity
a universe connected self is still a separate self

What Buddhism say about consciousness and the Mind-body connection ?
The ''seer" is an illusion. The "seen" is an illusion. Only seeing is real.
Great video as always

Hey the Energy that's powering my body is the same energy in ur body. It's called LIFE and it's in every animal, insect, human and atom in the universe. Science doesn't know where this energy comes from and different religions call it the spirit of God, in esoteric teachings they say this energy IS GOD. It's whats giving life to the whole universe👁🧠🌌⚡️🙌
i love it 😭
Whatever neuroscience says is only a perspective from the outside.

I’ll have what you’re having
"Sense of a separate self"...could it be that this sense of separateness is closer to the truth of our being rather than the one cultivated by Buddhism where the practitioner is somehow "tricked" into believing that they are not separate from the world around them? 🤔

Vipassana meditation from which budhha got enlightenment
One thing about buddhism is that their is no god but you are the universe compared to other religions where you have to worship god if i had to choose a religion definitely be buddhism
Identifying with a religion or ideology , you think this is Buddhism, this is the first illusion in which you're caught
Is that an Indian accent with an English accent?

They have obtained this from Hinduism (Vedic philosophy)
Men have to go through a lot of training to achieve emotions like empathy, women are born with it.
Young boys definitely can feel empathy to others, it’s just that over time due to unfortunate situations they repress their empathy to deal with life. So it’s not that males are born without empathy

We all meditate when we sleep.
In that sacred realm, we glimpse the infinite depths of our being, beyond all names and forms, and merge with the timeless essence of the universe."

how long does it take to get the benefits of meditation
The video clips used are from somewhere I used in my video only you and I know this 😂
It’s not true that through meditation awakening can be reached, it helps you to know your real nature, but it’s better to understand intellectually what your true nature is then u will reach
awakening much faster.... but then, you’re still not enlightened... awakening brings you half way...the next step is to recognize that your ego (the self talker) is also a sham...
I think nonduality simply combines the two into one ego.
So once that ego is seen through you are in non dual perception
What you experience is awakening...it’s the halfway to enlightenment...you dissolved (identity)...but there is another enemy called (ego) this also
Separates you from feeling complete (perfect)...the ego is your desires beyond food and drink, what u normally would need to survive.
Buddha's sunya marga isn't negative,it's beyond our imagination and mind.... Sunya is nothing but nothing is everything.... It's infinity
@@parth6115 absolutely!
@@parth6115 Sunya is what they call void or emptiness, And as Alan Watts translated it "No-thing" which denies duality and the self which we call ego. Everything arises mutually. Eg: We humans are collection of different organs working together.
@dipaolo Buddhism is about self discovery in this you don't need outer agency, buy in the abhramic religion they teach to beg and prey and obey and it's outdated as those religions are just cults

86 billion neurons moved 140 trillion cells and ended up in front of a full-length mirror. 15 trillion cells tapped softly the cranium, and the mouth asked in a loud voice ¨Hello, hello, somebody home!? An ancient granny named Mrs. Nothingness came out completely naked.
What a wonderful surprise!
