Thanks for addressing the Rey movie concerns. I was one of only 20 decillion people who asked about it. I think it's ironic Daisy Ridley was on a podcast called "Happy Sad Confused" because that's how some of us feel about SW right now.
It honestly felt short-sighted that this wasn't the plan to begin with. A December Mando romp during the holiday season would make a lot of sense, with the Rey movie coming out on the 50th.
Q&A: What would be a good term for entire 'Glup Shitto' species and what are some good examples that level of species? (For example how rarely the Nelvaanians from the 2003 Clone Wars reappeared in Legends... and always getting really bad fates).
Q&A: Even though the show has been canceled, I have this question: Did Darth Plagueis create Mae and Osha? Or at least have a role in their creation? Mothers Anasseia and Koril were definitely hiding more than they let on about their creation. I also suspect that Plagueis was still apprentice to Darth Tenebrous at this time.
I think some deleted scenes restored. For TFA, the scene where Leia advises her aide to speak to the New Republic for aide. For TLJ, Luke's third lesson prank he pulls on Rey. It's a great scene, and adds more to the story. For TROS...Probably the Eye of Webbish Bog. More of that Mustafar scene would be good.
@@michaelkaduck1915 Oh yes 100%! The third lesson in TLJ is such a great scene and shows Luke in a more human light for that film, which I think other people who didn’t like Luke in TLJ would appreciate. The deleted scene of Kylo interrogating Chewie in TROS too!
LucasFilm needs new leadership at the top been saying it for years. Time to find the next era of storytellers and actually move forward with projects and not constantly announce things that mostly languish in creative limbo
Thank you Alex and Molly you seem to be the only RUclipsrs that have mentioned that Steven Knight has other commitments beyond Star Wars. Steven has 3 TV series in production and 1 movie. It's not hard to search his name and see what other productions he is involved in.
I'm okay with every OTHER year for a film. Has to be a great story that can be beautifully acted and beautifully shot. Take the time to get things right and not just okay.
I'll probably wait for Mando & Grogu to get to disney+ to watch it, unless the trailers absolutely blow my mind. The Rey movie I'll see in the cinema day 1 though, I love her as a character - and I can't wait for my daughter to be a little older so I can show her Star Wars and watch her have role models in Leia and Rey.
I think Mandalorian vs Grogu is a consecuence of the strikes, just like Moana 2. They need something done quickly and safe that (by their streaming numbers) they know are going to bring a good box office. I'm pretty sure it will feel cheap, but also I don't think it's any indication of what's to come, it's just a consecuence of a specific event.
I want to be optimistic, but the fact that with Filoni in charge, every project not in his verse has been put on the backburner has been very alarming for me
The big issue with Marvel and to a lesser extent Star Wars is all the stuff you need to watch. I could also get around yo watching like, 5 to 6 hours of marvel movies. But if I need to watch multiple tv shows to understand what's going on, it gets to a point where it feels like homework
Oh, I'm sorry you guys have had unpleasant cinema experiences as of late with rude or noisy people - its not like that universally, my local cinema is still a nice community experience where everyone watches the film respectfully. Admittedly, I haven't been to any huge blockbuster releases in a while, but even then, when I have been to films like that, disturbances are very rare. I'm guessing it might be more of a city vs. suburban town vs. rural town etc. kind of thing rather than a pre-lockdown vs. post-lockdown thing. Hoping you two can find a quieter venue for your movie-going experiences - cinemas should be a place to enjoy the medium of film. 🤞
I'm gonna spitball and guess if they start shooting in the second half of 2025, let's say a 4-6 month shoot (TFA shot from May to Nov), they should have close to a year for editing... I'm gonna guess it'll make a Dec 2026 release
I will not be surprised if something else happens between now and 2026! That will cause them to delay or to be pushed back another year or two? Because this is Disney we're talking about "the killer of Star Wars RIP"!
A writer departing a project de facto means they aren't using their material. If they were using a majority of their material that means they would get credit and they wouldn't be departing it. Essentially this means they are starting over on the script.

Alex and Mollie yiur costumes are great.
I assumed Reno 911.
"this did not SCREAM bad news ti me " Mollie in her lime green news reporter outfit 😀
In may 27 will be 50 years from SW ANH. Would be a great time to have a movie 50 years latter in the SW timeline

Q&A: What changes would you like to see in a hypothetical special edition of the sequel trilogy?
For me it only be some hints of Palpatine. Even as subtle as having a cloaked hologram quickly get turned off when Kylo enters Snoke’s throne room.

Oh yes. That'd be nice too.
I actually like these suggestions

Thank you both as always ❤

The next Disney Avatar movie is scheduled for Xmas time 2025. With Fire and Ash in theaters, Disney isn't going to release Mando at the same time.

I for one hope it gets made me my friends. I really do.

Dec 2027 is an Avatar year.
Great costumes, I thought April O'Neil as slashers are not my genre.

Nov 2025 is Zootopia 2 and Dec is Avatar so no room for Mando And Grogu .
