Don't think I would have climbed above that weak point. Interesting that when you cut it it seemed to have pretty good integrity. I often pray when I'm climbing.
Harry I have a question. How does one get started in Australia climbing ? Here in Germany first thing you do is a course. Then you can climb but only with a hand saw. 200 hours later and you can do the b license to climb with a chainsaw. Is that like in Australia?
Wow that sounds legit. In Aus there is courses but nothing is mandatory. Anyone can go buy a saw and some climbing kit and start work calling themselves an Arborist, as a result there is a lot of cowboys and shit tree work happening. European climbers and guys like in this video, who are safe and know what they’re doing, are quite sort after and can make some good money with the right crews. Though still not nearly enough for the heap of shit trees like this one. I work as a contract climber in a city and I make really good money just doing shit little palms and easy removals. Isn’t enough money in the world to get me up the monster big shit heaps like Harry here anymore. Although maybe I’m just getting old haha
@@TreeClimberHarry Harry could you please tell me what your climbing rig is called the srt or what ever it’s called with the double hand grip and foot strap ?

Climbing above decay is sketchy but just like he said if you imagine how much weigh is up there and use your imagination on the amount of force is applied in a heavy wind it’s gonna be pretty easy to decide whether or not it’s gonna hold from the force your going to put on it. No shock loading and it should be alright but still kinda sketchy sometimes.

Harry, I have a new MAKITA 10in. 18v 5ah setup.. I love it.. it has the correct rpms but is a little short on torque.. but I can do all the branches 4 inches and under on one charge. It can cut 3- 8in oak logs before a battery change. But I'm thoroughly impressed with the light weight and monueverbility . But I would like that husqvarna though. From Arkansas, see ya
I look at the vegetation and wonder what right anyone has for living in these areas. Falling limbs and bush fires are serious problems of when and not if these homes will be devastated so I have to wonder about people complaining about selective clearing. Every home is detrimental to the trees including those owned by the complainers.
Reading the bible at the start of a job? That's awesome! Would never go over well, here Good job. I was nervous for you with that skinny little spar haha, but nice rig! You ever use AFB's? I absolutely love my Safebloc, I think you would have liked it for that rig
@@TreeClimberHarry central Canada. And AFB is an aerial friction brake. Basically like having a portawrap/GRCS/Stein RC up in the tree with you. Yeah, they're great!
Awesome to see scripture being read at the start of the day 🙏. Great videos, keep up the good work and stay safe.
Thank you and yes awesome to read it before we start, setting our spiritual high point first thing 🙏
Don’t ya just love it when the public hates you for removing a tree haha
I know, that was crazy. I love the argument too, how dare he burn firewood... should he should be burning fossil fuels instead? 🤣

Amen brother that is why we pray before our day.
Jesus will take it from there.
Love you and your crew.
Nice job dude..Did you get seasick? Do you use your own saws?
Its refreshing to see someone actually free fall cut things and just cut through instead of getting a stick up their arse about gobbing every cut xD
16:55......no matter what the Country........there's always gonna be a "Karen" lol.
Hey Harry what do you guys do with the logs? Do you pay somebody to come pick it up?
