Very nice video. Just saw FIFI today (6/11/2014) in Napa, California and greatly enjoyed it. My first time. You had a much better view of takeoff than we did!
At the Deer Valley airport there is a viewing platform that has a speaker so you can hear the conversation between the pilots and control tower. I bet that is what you were hearing in the second part of the clip.
Hey guys! Not too long ago this exact B-29 was doing touch and goes over our house! Since of course it is the last flying B-29 ever. I'm lucky to see that thing.
In reguards to the flight engineer, yea I know that and I find it totally amazing. To add to the fun the engineer is facing in the oppisite direction. I would be so totally sick if I tried that. I take my hat to the flight crews of this plane.
about three years ago, I heard a large piston plane coming from the distance. I quickly rushed inside to get the camera and got three photos of the profile of the plane. It was a four engine Boeing bomber, but I was a tad late in being able to identify it. Besides a B-17 or B29, what else could it have been? It was on a direct line towards Wichita.

Just out of curiosity, are you the air traffic controller we were speaking to yesterday while you were filming this video?
