Your redesign is simply genius, you now permanently fix it 👍
That cable looks very strong because my W203 hood latch uses skinny cable too 😅

Haha! 😅 I know -- I think the cable on the W163 hood latch is the same skinny cable! Thanks for watching : )

That came out really nice the way you made it 😊 There is actually a video of them making similar ones from Pakistan on youtube

Thanks, singlecams! Yes, this one was made in Pakistan too - I'll have to check out that video; it's pretty well made - there is no way I was gonna throw it out for just a bent pole! : )

I'd love a snake grabber, but I have no snakes to grab! I really admire your thoughtful approach to your work.

Haha! That's good, though, that you don't have to grab any snakes where you live - snakes are very surprising when they show up where they aren't supposed to be (like in the house!), even harmless ones!
      Thanks for watching! : )

Of all the things to find! Too bad I wasn’t working on my RAV4 sooner I wouldn’t’ve bought a new snake grabber. We use them with some regularity in Yuma, Arizona, too.

Haha, what a coincidence! I bet you use them even more in Yuma than we do here in CO (and they're still hibernating here, or doing whatever they do when it gets cold!). Thanks for watching! : )
