Knew you would like it, just a solid little performer. Caution, that board is not a happy camper when you start to throw upgrades at it. I would say add an xt30 and a circular polarized antenna and fly it like you stole it, or got it cheap in a subscription box. When the board goes, mount a 3s whoop board and make it an ultralight 3s.
i added a 1w vtx for fun and it made it really fly, xt30 is a no brainer, and if you do upgrade the cam it has to be the 3 pin connector harness or make your own for other cams
Loved mine, and swapped the cam out for a baby ratel 2, the rx for an archer rs, although elrs would be a better choice, and the vtx for a tiny tank, although had issues with S/A on that one. Other than that flew beautifully! Loved seeing what it can do in professional hands!
@babyzeefpv9887 I kept mine stock. It always flew solid for me. I did also swap the dual ph2 for an xt30, so it wasn't current limited by the connector. Unfortunately wasn't starting to tune yet, before I lost a motor bell, and haven't been able to replace it yet. So not sure about making the PID's any better. Sorry

I'm sorry, I should have been more clear. The app I use is SpeedyBee. Binding a radio means pairing the drone to your controller (radio), so you can fly it. Binding is fairly easy, you should be able to find a lot of info about Binding your specific radio online. When you bind your radio to the drone you also setup your switches. You need a switch to arm/disarm the drone, you can also set one to change which mode you are flying in (Angle or Stability mode: Keeps the drone upright, this is good for beginners and some racers use it as well. Acro mode: This allows you full control over the drone, you will want this mode for freestyle and flipping.) Lot of info, hope it makes sense to you. Also, welcome to the hobby!

I was just watching about the emax drones and someone said there's already a switch on the tinyhawk 2 freestyle drone that puts it in acro mode and I also noticed on all reviews people take it right out of the box and start doing acros so I wasn't sure if they were setting that up first or not.
I love mine, I got it this spring and got to fly it a bit this summer, it's stock, but I dont like the way it flips, I can't get the rates right. How did you get the battery voltage to show 2 decimal points, mine always rounds to #.#0?
The stock rates were very slow. Almost half what I am used to. I bumped those up too lol. As for the battery voltage, I use "Battery average cell voltage" on the osd.

You just train your eyes to give it a glance. Main focus is middle of screen. Set alerts in the middle of the screen so you'll know when battery is low.

I want more and more and more... if you have just one upgrade to do. just do something for the vtx antenna cause the breakup are essentially due to signal become blocked by the battery ... 3 possibilities: Get a bigger one Try to make it more vertical Put a better one I personally had broke the active part of the original dipole and insert an other dipole in the first one and fix it wit heat shrink and it worked like a charm...
Can you tell me the pid rates you put in? I have no experience with changing that in betaflight but out of the box it flips really slow so i want to change it but can't find anywhere how to do it
PIDs and rates are separate. Rates are watch you're looking for. The Emax rates are a bit sluggish, going into the PID tuning tab in BF, you can select rate profile and tinker with the rates. Here i am flying them on stock Betaflight rates. Easy way to get to those is just change the rate profile to any of the other ones, should be default.

Can you steer me to how to unlock the vtx in Betaflight? I have been confused about how to unlock the vtx on my TH II Freestyle. I thought I had to unlock it every time I powered it up. I am really hoping there is a better way to do this. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Sure! Right above the micro USB port on the FC there should be a large black button with a square silver base on the VTX. Hold that button down and plug in your batteries. Hold the button after power up for about 10 seconds. Release button and that should be it.

Just keep the frame put a 3s capable Aio (I personally use the Larva X hD) with 12025 6400 kv from crux3 and put a throttle cut of 75% also preferred the HQ 2.5X2.5X3 props for better top end punch... just perfect Freestyle... note that with bigger motor you could end breaking arms but with some sticky tape you’ll repair it in a minute... and no différents in flight caractéristiques with totally flimsy arms my best ripper till now... ohhh and to change motors you can fix them with only 2 screws... perfect with 300 mA 2s and a monster with 3s! bigger battery tried was tattu r line 550 for more than 5min of rip... sorry for my approximate English...
Other add on I prefer the cheapest camera from the first edition with big field of view but you have to know the spot and where are the hidden ghost twigs... I also prefer the previous design so if you can get the first frame... for mounting mine I just isolate the Aio with pieces of foam then sqweeched (like a sandwich) a diamond vtx (the real with DVR recording)between motors plugs and top frame using double sticky tape ... it’s perfectly durable. Other things I advise protect the Aio from wet grass with some tape on the bottom of the frame you can also add hot glue on the tip of the arms to protect from shocks...
Was my first drone. Lol. It doesn't freestyle well but its not bad. Stock range was absolute shit thought. Swap in tbs nano pro 32 and a new rx it gets wayyyy better.
@@lorentacar the reason I say it doesn't freestyle well for me at least is most of the moves I do you have to flick it. It just doesn't have the weight to carry the momentum you have to force it through. I was trying to practice with the small drone and carry the moves over to 5" inch but the moves just didn't transfer well. But you by far had the best freestyle video I've seen come from this drone. I do highly suggest the tiny'sleds sled to add the 500mw tbs nano and better rx. I couldnt find motor upgrades with the same screw pattern. Unless you got the 1106 emax motors.

But if you change motors with some 12025 6400kv(yes you can if you fix them only 2 screws) it get just enough weight for being my favorite quad of all time. In Reality I just say keep the frame cause it the best 2.5 inch I known... eventually the camera ... I made mine a 3s capable so nothing staid the same in it...

@@headsfpv That is precisely what I did. Changed the board and ran 3s on those motors. They held up great with a little throttle work.

i had the V1 and it was really fun. Only thing about Emax drones is that the usb ports break right away.

Upgrading mine at the moment: eachine nano VTX (400mW) + circular polarised antenna, ELRS receiver and an XT30 :)
Look into tiny sleds they have a vtx board that allows a tbs pro nano in place of the old vtx
NGL my Tinyhawk FS is my favorite quad. The one bad thing is that it has plastic screws that break kinda easy in a crash. Easy to fix though.

You just need to bind up your radio and set your switches up. You can use the mobile app and do it that way too Instead of PC

If it was your first perhaps it wasn’t it which doesn’t Freestyle well but you... for me ,just his is the best in the 2.5 inch top mounted category
