After following and watching the channel videos for a while now I have noticed the creativity that you have been able to share when it comes to completion of projects. I'm hoping that your channel continues to grow by receiving the types of recognition that I believe that you deserve. Thank you so much for the years you have put into making these videos and showing that you are doing your best to improve the quality of the content as you progress ☺️ thanks 🙏👍
You work so hard on your old farm. I respect how you conquer every project!
Beautiful scenery and a beautiful home. David you can make anything work so good. You and Dessie are a wonderful team.
Great to see the little animals enjoy life as you work at the same time.🐈🐕🐐🐓🐔👍😄
Everytime I see your dog I can't help but smile, he's such a mixture of breeds!
I love watching you guys build things
I have done foundations like that but i always removed the bottom of the bucket so it was possible to completely remove the bucket once the cement hardens. Also i have made a small barn that is anchored down bye a few foundation blocks but otherwise it just stands one old concrete tiles
I’m sure that the addition is going to be awesome !! You two are doing so much to improve the house and land !!
I’m very proud of you ❤❤
I love seeing your doggie looking about. Don’t forget your entry way before winter. Australia 🇦🇺
Nice music choice.
I learn a lot watching you improve your home and property. Looking forward to your progress.
That was a lot of work. You both amaze me!
So innovative! You saved a lot of work! Hope it works out well!
You got a lot done. This build will be nice. Look forwardcto watching ❤❤❤❤
The chickens like it when you dig! 🐓 🪱
That was so great David and Dissey thank you
Well done
Nicely done! ❤You could even reuse those buckets as anchors later on if you want to demolish the structure, I’ve seen people reusing them for summer to anchor lightweight gazebos/shades.
Yeah that's the plan, we didn't want it to be a permanent addition, so it will be removed and these blocks will be very useful! 😁
Ei, šis gan ir interesants risinājums - ar spaiņiem! Nebija redzēts. 😮👍🏼
so talented and hardworking- amazing and simple solution as always!
Foundation is the beginning of what should be level on any building, which is required to have a proper building.
We shoved in the video the level is perfect! 😁
Good job
Suggestion for you, If you turn your bucket upside down and cut the bottom out you will have the full advantage of the biggest diameter of the bucket as the pylon foot. And your pylons will have a gentle taper as they come out of the ground. The cement will have full contact with the soil and the pylon will be much more resistant to frost heaving. Better looking, working and does not cost an extra dime. :)
Good job and nice video👍
ha ha When you have a cat it is a mixed pleasure mixing cement if the gravel has been lying around for a while. Sometimes they leave you a foul smelling present ;)
One of my mom’s cats did that today while I was laying gravel in her wood shed😂 He figured I couldn’t work well enough without the “foul smelling present”. Then he left without covering it…

I hope it doesn’t come back and bite you that you haven’t put any cross bars on the rebar, only using bucket foundation, with the weight of the building going down on a single thin bar the foundation is far more likely to crack. 😮
It's not too late to weld a strip of rebar, level with the cement in the buckets, to the
existing upright rebar if necessary .
👍💪💕
This is a bit of the current subject But I thought I would ask anyway.
I have been watching your escapades for about a year now but today I am wondering how one or both of you acquired the Farm property.
Was it inherited or did one or both of you buy it sometime ago. What was the property like before you started your due and be different activities on the property and the land?
They have a video with a tour of the property & house to see what it looked like. They have really made a lot of progress. You should go watch it. You won’t be disappointed.
@@bridgwll perhaps they could do a re run?
I think these post bases are undersized, but time will tell.
when making any type of foundation it needs to be concrete and not just sand and cement mix
Cement is ingredient of Concrete not other way around. This is the right ratio, it's not a mix bag it's pure cement powder!
Heat will separate your buckets.

You guys were one of my favorite channels on RUclips but recently it’s not worth the watch. In my opinion You are spreading yourselves too thin and your content has no substance.
Guys, I would definitely use lighter galvanized roofing on that foundation and not those heavy slabs you have saved
