Trago Mills Model Railway. OO gauge masterpiece.

In this video we pay a visit to the enormous model railway at Trago Mils Newton Abbot.
This extraordinary layout features bridges, a real water harbour, cliff railway, beach and sea wall and so much more.
Seeing the seawall on this layout is what inspired me to build the one on my Abbots Newton layout.

Loved this. One question, it was a bit hard to tell. But did I see a Dalek at the opening of one of the traffic tunnels? Maybe I'm just seeing things.

I used to work there, we used to have to clean the track in the mornings and there was a fair few derailments as well but was a good bit of fun , interesting to see they’re still using the same wagons a year on, they mustave travelled a million miles!

Yes still there as far as i am aware, i think it depends if they have the staff to run it

@@dansmodelrailways7886I’ve just looked online,apparently this Model Railway was going to be refurbished last October. You will never believe this but I read this information on the Blue Peter website. I love this model Railway. I’m 23 and I remember going to Trago Mills every time my Family stayed with my Grandparents in Devon. I was a Baby when I first saw the model railway. Thankfully I now reside in Devon. Unfortunately I haven’t been to Trago Mills in years. After seeing this I’ll certainly visit soon.

I know it's big, but when it's a nice layout with lots of details, the camera movements must be really really slow! Moving it too fast doesn't let us see anything (even if we pause, it's all blurry!). 👎
