We have so much love for #Plot25 and for so much time we spent there, so many people who visited, so many gorgeous picnics with family and friends. Paul/Jason; So it took a couple of months, but I finally binged all 107 allotment vlogs (since the internet ate one in the 20s 😄).
First off, thanks for sharing your 3 year journey with us. From your wide-eyed arrival to a plot in need of some TLC, to your in-season harvest joys, to your unfortunately bittersweet departure (when starting my binge I wasn't sure why you left since I found your channel after your departure, but between theft, horsetail and politics...it totally made sense that it was time to turn the page), it was inspiring and entertaining to see you work through the adversity and reap the edible, physical, mental, and emotional rewards that come with getting your hands into living soil.
Secondly...in a few of the last few allotment vlogs, you mentioned that you were planning on continuing growing in the back yard of your home (containers), and were considering a new vlog series of "gardening adventures." I know you two have a lot of irons in the fire and you do a terrific job with all of the content you release, but is this something that's still on the radar for a future endeavor? If so, I'd definitely be a regular viewer...if not, totally understandable with your workload.
For me, it is on to your old meals vlogs to enjoy with my morning coffee (wife and I regularly catch the new ones along with your grocery adventures). Take care, and thanks so much for all of the effort you both put forth in bringing such an important message in such an entertaining fashion!
It was a long journey and we thank you for watching it all, more good memories than bad thankfully and a wealth of experience gained. We absolutely will be starting in our garden, already have lots of bits ready to go. We had hoped to start this year but had too much on for the first 6 months of 2024 really, so 2025 it is. :)

Beautiful, moving explanation of why it can sometimes be difficult to answer the same questions over and over. Hopefully people will get it now. In any case, you owe us nothing as already give so much of yourselves and bring so much to our lives 🤗
Wow! How is it possible that it’s been three years? Seems like just yesterday you stared. Sad that it had a bit of a bitter end. Seems that politics and drama can creep into almost anything theses days. I feel like committee is synonym for drama. Thanks for sharing the journey and looking forward to seeing the back garden adventures. Will miss Mr. Pusspants - what a regal looking cat.
Your allotment vlogs are hoe I found your channel. It was a comfort and a joy during a really difficult time with my health. I remember binge watching the previous vlogs. Im so sorry that you had to end with such a negative experience, but as you said, you have so many great memories from the experience. Thank you for sharing this part of your lives with us.

Thank you guys for this lovely journey through out the last years. I will keep plot 25 in my memory as well. I learnt a lot form your experiences and share the same sentiment towards councils and people who think of themselfs as important. Similar exeriences like you I had when I stepped down as official and key bearer for our local give away market. For years I had people running over my mouth, knowing everything better... but when I anounced, that I couln't do it anymore due to work, studies and family and asked for someone to take over noone steped forward , of course. So this lovely market is on hiatus since the end of shmarrona with no re-opening in sight anytime soon. So I feel you very much on this. But I am looking foward to your backyard adventures, because you 2 and I are home gardeners from now on!❤ Onwards!

Oh that was so funny, the way you said "Jason's just buried a dead rat" 😂 struck me as funny because it's a typical thing that I'd have to do, always on animal duty, even in times of crisis x
What a lovely Vlog. Thank you for sharing. You've now inspired me to put my wee greenhouse back up. It was blown around the garden during the storms and all my stuff inside was ruined. I'm going to go this afternoon and put it back up again. X
I had a plot years ago and had things stolen by other plot owners. Luckily, I have a big garden now and 3 foot high brick raised beds and I use large buckets too. I've got asparagus, garlic, onions, loganberries, cooking and eating apples, radish, lettuce, cape gooseberry, sweetcorn, peppers, cucumber and tomatoes. Just hope we get a decent, long summer so they all grow. Only just found you a month ago so catching up with all your older videos. Especially love the shopping ones. Take care 🤗

I grew tomatoes from seed indoors on 6 May last year. They were ready to eat by... Christmas! No idea why so slow.

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. As allotments became more popular our committee got too big for their boots and were causing trouble with people who had had allotments for years and years. Eventually it came to a head, a lawyer who had a plot got the council involved, the committee was disbanded and now the council runs the site, so much better!! xx
Sorry you needed to give up your site but you’re leaving it so much better than you found it. Whoever takes it over will benefit from your kindness and hard work.

OMG, i can still remember you guys saying there is a big announcement coming soon and then a little while later you revealed the date of the big announced and everyone was guessing , saying you've adopted kids , you've adoped another cat etc. Then you revealed you'd got an allotmet and your wonderfull allotment volgs began, to me it feels like it was last week when people were guessing what the announcement was, i cant believe its been 3 years , its scary how fast time goes, i'm guessing for you with all the hard work you've put in and the time you've spend down there it feels longer , but the big countdown to your big announcement really does feel like about a year ago, life really does go too fast, i wish you all the best in your future growing adventures, i have a small raised bed in my garden and grow a few things and its such a joy to harvest your own food , wishing you all the best and thank you for inspiring me to beoome fully vegan.

Unfortunately that happens at alot of allotments. My good friend who helped me so much when I had a plot. People been trying to get him off for no reason....it was his dad's plot and he there all day every day and a plot that would win every prize. Committee trying to get rid him silly reasons and it cost him £1000's to try and keep it and he not budging but it impacting on his health. He hels so many people but they scared to speak up due to the bullying of the committee. I left the plot and had things stolen when they knew I was leaving and very sentimental things. I joined to help my mental health but it the worst thing ever did for me and my friend who I talk to every day to sort him

Farewell plot 25 but upwards n onwards to new memories..ive waited 2 n a half years for my home to be fully adapted ..with me in a elec chair n guess what ..monday the builders are comin..been itchin to tell someone but kept it to my chest as theres always goin to be a green eyed monster out there wanting to disrupt it..ill havr a kitchen i can use not be scared of using . N so much more..heres to new beginnings ..🎉(veganvlogger...as was)

Just like my allotment the woman who runs it asked me to join the committee and I refused because she’s a nasty woman, allotments are like high school, grown people acting like children I couldn’t be bothered with it. Still have my plot 5 years on now and I keep to myself when on the allotment
