One thing I'd never forget about my childhood would be how I got motivated and helps me grow closer to Jesus Christ by this legendary Rock band. Thank you Brothers!

John, when you and Petra came to Lancaster, CA in the late 80's or early 90's and Youth For Christ had organized the venue. We had an opportunity to serve you and the band dinner prior to the concert. You were the most humble and kind man! You spoke of your daughter. You were so thankful for the turkey dinner with all of the fixins'. What a great memory watching you sing during the sound check. There was just a few of us prior to the concert. Been a Petra fan since 1983 when i was just 13....Still my favorite Christian band of all time.....
