Update, I was wrong about them being made out of leather. They are made out of a synthetic as a just found out after talking with Primo via What's App. Sorry for the confusion on that. It didn't say on the website or the shinguard. The smell of it made me think it was leather.
Thanks for the review! I’m between the Hayabusa shin guards and these Primo, which would you recommend? In some videos, it looks like the Primo ones fit a bit more snugly to the calf. On the other hand, I like the knee protection on the Hayabusa…
Very cool thanks. I really appreciate you taking the time to do these reviews, it means a lot to us people who live in countries with a very basic selection of Muay Thai gear!
@@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667 cool. I just ordered my shin guards. I’m 5’9” but I measured my shins and I could’ve chose small or medium according to their size chart. I went with the small
Interesting... I like the simplicity & lightweight aspect. Have you weighed them on a scale? They might be my next fight gear purchase. For reference, what's your shin length? I'm 5' 7.5" with shorter legs. I'm currently using Danger 'Supermax' shin guards in size medium & they're a decent fit. Also... whats the discount code? 😂
Check their size chart, but I'm assuming small or medium would both work at your size as your a a couple inches taller than I am. You get the 10 percent discount code from them when you go to their online store. You give them your email and they send you the discount code via email.
Both of these are extremely light and compact and slender. If that's what's your looking for either or will work. If you want leather go wth twins if you want something without an extra shin pad bar because of grappling than go with Primo

Yeah but they are not as good as these
FINALLY I BEEN WAITING FOR A REVIEW ON THESE i have the infight style shinguards so similar but wondering if there was any difference thanks!!!!
You're welcome. I try to find items that no one has reviewed yet and of course the luxury training gear as well
Now that sometime has gone by which do you like best primo/hayabusa t3/fly shinguards?
Since you mentioned knee pads. What type/ brand do you use?
Combat Corner, but I'm thinking about trying a new brand out soon

Great review as usual, Are these lighter or heavier than the twins or the Fly’s?
They are the lightest of the 3 I think. Fly wild be the heaviest out of the 3

Those Fly shin pads you recommended that I get are still probably some of the toughest shin pads I have
Nice shorts
Thanks, I got them from Combat Corner

Good review. How tall are you? I normally fall in between small and medium @5foot 4. These look well fitted to you.
5'5" go with a size small

Ever thought about getting the Isami shinguards?
Yeah but I don't like how the straps on them look wrapping all the way around the way they do. But I do want to get their mma training gloves
Hey I’m around 5’10 do u think a medium would be adequate or should I go large
Not sure, measure your shin from able to the knee abs check their sizing chart.
