Not only that, if it's been awhile and you're on a new save, I'll even go over how to get your very first living ship.
Hey there - I'm Taylor. A lover of No Man's Sky and pretty much any survival, exploration, shooter, or ....nevermind. I love ALL the games. I like to do things a little different, and welcome all who are looking for the same.
If you're curious, No Man's Sky is an exploration survival game developed and published by Hello Games. Through the game's procedural generation system, planets have their own ecosystems with unique forms of flora and fauna, and various sentient alien species may engage the player in combat or trade within planetary systems.

Of all the "Find a living ship" vids I've watched, yours was the only one to give this one bit of critical information. To be able to restart the Starbirth mission using local structures we must first build a base. Build the base near the location of what you will see as a crashed regular/normal ship. When you restart Starbirth mission near your new base the egg will use it to find the nearby egg.
An Expedition started when I got to my shop thought I’d be able to come back to it now I can’t find it I got everything just not the ship
I was gifted a "few" Void Eggs at the Anomaly a couple of months back. And by "Few" I mean;
Instantly filled every backpack slot, and Starship Slot with stacks of 20. There was well over 1000 eggs dumped into my Inventories in one second.
I spent some time giving out stacks of them.

I made the mistake of taking the normal ship because I thought it was part of the quest... now I have to restart 🙃
I want to get a really cool one I saw months ago, it took me days and days to finish the void egg mission, glad that's done 😵😂

Hello, have you had any luck?
If you want to have your living ship and still be able to play in multiplayer with that save, do not change your clock. It screwed up my save file and I could not re-sync it with the online servers. Its technically cheating, so I don't think thats gonna change.
But I already did this on a past save. Just came here for some refresher knowledge.
But yeah, you'll de-sync your save if you skip time. You can still skip it, but you just wont be able to play with people.
What happens is you're seemingly synced up and fine when in your ship at a station or the anomaly, but as soon as you step out of the ship, everyone freezes and you dc from the lobby.
i've tried to get the living ship i wanted ... it's impossible, the ships i want just don't spawn there are just regular ships, even when i reload the save next to the ship it just don't spawn i can only have ships that the game is giving me and now it's the same problem for second ship (the one u pay with nanites) i don't know what to do

I do all the things the video says, but when I get to the point were I reset my quest, it resets it but not to the crash site in front of me, it gives me a different site on the planet, wich is an issue because I'm trying to get a specific ship. also before you say reload your save, I've tried that, before and after the quest reset, the crash site still contains a regular ship.
Refilling living ships doesn’t work anymore. It just keeps giving me the same ship no matter how many reloads and restarts

I dont understand. When you exit your ship to check out your new living ship, you are going to create a new restore point - deleting the one you made earlier right?
That was the first thing I tought when he mentioned save before jumping into your ship, I was like well then how am I going to check out the living ship from the inside of my ship?
Because if I get out I'm screwed
I guess the only thing we could do is check the ship, if we don't like it we reject and restart the mission elsewhere maybe? I'll try it...
@@lopachondo i just stayed inside my ship. When I finally found one i liked, the game of course created a restore point as soon as i exited my ship, so as predicted you can't do it the way the guy in the video does it.
Got one from a redditor, turns out it was active lmao. I got scammed so hard. I even tried to dupe it 10 times lol.
You know how long I’ve been looking for my living ship???!! I’m sooo stupid 😂 you explained the glyphs 5:10 I was using black holes cuz it said another form of travel 😂 I went all the way back to the beginning 😂 I’m 🧠 💀
Did they change something? I tried this and absolutely could not get this to work.
Somehow HG broke something with the mission restart and I get an new loction for the living ship.
The ship nearby (from the shared coordinate) will not be used.
Tried several times and different distances with no good result.
updates can reek havoc on game mechanics 😕
i dunno if ytou can help me with something i cant restart the living ship egg hatch like i saw the ship but cant make it restart with the nearby structure am i doing something wrong ?
hmmmmm the only thing I can think of is to increase the distance and then see if it allows you to restart with nearby structures
I finished the whole mission got my ship added Components. as I did the ship turned into a regular freight shipwhat do I do to fix:(

No... I did everything in this video. I saved before hatching the egg. But once I got out of my ship to inspect the Living Ship, it counted it as a "restore point". So now I can't go back to before I hatched the egg and I'm stuck with this ugly Living Ship...
why didn’t you “reject the host being”?
you don’t take ownership until you accept or reject. if you don’t like the ship then reject it.
