That's really cool your dad is Emmett Speed Merchant--that was the nickname given to him by legendary GT radio announcer, Al Ciraldo. We all have good memories of your dad playing at Tech.

Shawn Jones played QB in the CFL when it expanded into the u.s. in 93-95...Baltimore were the only American team to win the Grey Cup....I believe he was the backup to veteran CFL QB Tracy Ham from Georgia Southern.
