I do Love watching your skills at work and restoration! Your whistling and humming is simply and plus to the entire operation. Having been a picker since childhood myself, I certainly can appreciate and understand what you commented on. A Beautiful Restoration that is a true pleasure to see. Kind Thanks as always with Peace and Abundance to You and your Family! Another Fine example of art, engineering and history preserved. DaveyJO in Pennsylvania
That’s real nice Thank you and glad you enjoyed it. Was wondering if I should add some dramatic music as a sound track but sounds like my muberlings are at least acceptable. 😅
Morena. Great to watch. Aw you have some great tools . Great tip on diesel. Have a wonderful day. You say it's cold in UK :( Keep warm up there. Nga mihi Chris
The damage had caused a swelling like a bulge which you could feel under your fingers. It wouldn’t have been bad enough to stop the bayonet being fixed but it was there. Thanks for watching.
@@byswordmusket9312 thank you. Let me take the opportunity to say you are producing great content. You are a wonderful story teller and my son and I learn much from you.
Thank you sir that really means a lot to me. It’s funny actually my life’s been a bit of a mess until I returned to guns for the pure sake of my interest. I’ve done many different things including woodworking, mechanics design, photography. I worked in the gun trade for six years to learn the law then went solo, doing purely what I wanted to do-they all told me it wouldn’t work-there was no call for it -I would fail etc. when I was a youth I was in the army cadets and managed to convince them to let me take on the armoury after the last guy moved on. It’s one of the main things that interests me. I think that’s the key in the end-people say it shows through. Never gonna be rich n all monetarily! Just what I do! Keep watching, going to try to arrange some 11:03 live firing when the weather improves. Good day to you both.
Interesting to watch as I've recently done an identical repair where a rifle was dropped on the muzzle.

What did you apply to the end of the barrel to restore the finish?
Why did the OD of muzzle need to be turned?

The barrel is usually fairly easily removed on Sniders, they applied some kind of special wax on the threads when they were assembled.
My wife and I watch all your videos , in this one There is a something in your glass case. That looks like a Crossman 600. Is that what it is?
It’s a Webley .22 Tempest see the website.
